How the hell do Casey have a bye this week, I swear it was 2 weeks ago they had a bye?

Good opportunity for Jetta to stamp his name in the midfield, he looks good at Casey so hopefully he can be more consistent for the Dee's. Bennell sub hopefully....

I would of thought it would be one end behind the goals, how disapointing.

Adam Hunter, Fergus Watts, Ryan Fitzgerald are some that come to mind.

I'll honestly admit I didn't notice him for much of the 1st half. When I did see him get the ball though he was good with his disposal, more than happy for him to be given a few weeks to show what he can do. I'm glad they used his speed through the middle though rather than just sitting him in the forward line, yesterday we used a lot more more of small forwards through the middle rotations which we should be doing week in week out.

He's well off from playing for the Dee's. He had a good game against Frankston in the reserves which got him to the seniors. It was only a week or 2 before that I saw him play Port Melbourne, he played with no energy or desire. Went in for the centre bounce then stood in the middle of the ground rather than playing as the mobile player he's supposed to be. Needs a lot more development!

Agree. When you get dropped you need to go back a show consistent form over mutiple weeks. You can't go back play 1 game and get re-called. North will be looking to bounce back and have the wood over us so I'd rather see us stick with the mature bodies. If Grimes is out, (which he will be) bring in Macdonald... we lose a bit of run but we need his strength. Ideally Nicholson would be a good replacement based on his form but unfortunatly he's a rookie. If Grimes is sidelined for a while though this maybe the opening for him to be upgraded with a long term injury.

B: Garland, Warnock, Bartram HB: Davey, Frawley, Grimes C: Bail, Tapscott, Green HF: Trengove, Rivers, Sylvia FF: Jurrah, Dunn, Wonaemirri Ruck: Jamar, Moloney, Watts Int: Jones, Petterd, Gysberts Sub: Blease Warnock - Brining him in allows Rivers to go forward and give us some structure, his form for Casey also warrants selection and would be a good match up for Tippett/Walker Davey - Move him back, lets see him play like he did in 2009 rebounding. Tapscott - In the guts, provides some strength and some bloody committment Rivers - You might think it's stupid but when he was drafted he was drafted as forward, just ended up playing back. Who could blame them, look at our tall defenders from 2003 Lamb, Nicholson.... please. Moving him to CHF gives some structure, leave Dunn if the square to use body. Watts - In the centre from the bounce, let him get a feel of the footy... could be what kick starts his career. With Jamar, Bail, Moloney, and Tapscott around him he's full of protection. Wonnaemirri/Maric - Take your pick!
