The only decent win the Bombers have had is over the Eagle and even then the Eagles were well depleted. How people view leadership is very subjective in an organisation that has week values and a poor culture. We’ve finally turned that corner and in a big way when you listen to the likes of Gawn, Lever and as above with Petracca. The standards are solid, the culture has changed and matured - guided by a football program that we probably don’t give enough kudos to. My choice of our next Skipper would be Petracca ahead of Lever. Both very important players but the game breaking plays from Petracca sets him apart from Lever and therefore I see him as the next natural on field leader whilst he has clearly shown his off-field development. Probably worth a shout out to his girl as well. Since she’s come on the scene Christian has really figured things out. ??

What’s worse? 1) copping a 3 week holiday for it? 2) your opponent copping a week or more concussion or another type of injury? 3) squibbing a contest and trying to shake that label off? Number 3 everyday of the week for mine.
