2019 Membership
Some people like myself spend thousands of dollars each year flying to Melbourne and other capital cities to watch the team play.

2019 Membership
Correct. The early bird offer was $229 and the standard cost was $299 but I was eligible for the early bird right through which I’m guessing had something to do with length of membership.

2019 Membership
I upgraded to GFG seating from my interstate membership and being on the dedicated demon payment plan, the club has already advised me that 2019 will now cost $377 - not too bad I thought. Particularly now that I'm in the line ahead of what might become an avalanche of members upgrading in years to come. I just think it's a no-brainer if you want to watch the GF live. I also think it's worth noting that this finals thing we're suddenly a part of is bloody expensive and being an interstate member, even moreso given the September airline rort. Next years family budget of the McQueen household has been tweaked already.

My grand final dilemma (carn maggots!)
How ridiculous it is to think it even matters. I mean seriously. 2018 is done and dusted for this MFC member. The GF outcome is of zero consequence and care factor.

My grand final dilemma (carn maggots!)
Weather permitting, I shall be out in the boat fishing. Weather not permitting, I shall be going for a 4WD somewhere. Zero interest in what can aptly be described as the 2018 Gronk Final.

Pre-match brunch
I am Victorian mate. I moved here in the late 90’s and have improved the gene pool with a couple of kids.

David King thinks Eagles will Belt Us.
Like him or loathe him, King has the best read on this club out of all the commentators in the game. Once again, he’s bang on the mark.

GAMEDAY - Preliminary Final vs Eagles
What a complete and utter disgusting display. I can deal with a loss but this is heartbreaking.

GAMEDAY - Preliminary Final vs Eagles
It was this mob that ultimately knocked us out of the 8 last year. Time for some sweet revenge.

Who's going to Perth?
You might as well head into Subi and go 'The Vic' hotel on Hay st. Lots of screens, grub is nice and reasonably priced if you feel like a graze and there's a great range of beers on tap.

Where are you staying?

Who's going to Perth?
Lucky you're coming to the ice capital of Australia. Head to the casino if you need a little 'perk-up.'

Optus Stadium
I can guarantee that my verbal outrage is not for the faint hearted and must be very 'un-Melbournelike'.

Who's going to Perth?
They are the worst pair of sunnies I've seen in like forever.

What could have been.. Stuart Dew.
Dew has never impressed me all that much when I've heard him speak. Admittedly, he's overseeing a basket-case of a club and any positivity is in very short supply. From an image perspective (and I mean this with best intent) he needs to trim down himself because I believe that will provide a healthy layer of leadership cred that the Suns need. Watching Goodwin get physically involved in training is a huge variable in fostering friendships and the culture we now have. It's pretty hard to do that when you're morbidly obese.

A Guide to Perth
I have a bit of a soft spot for Perth given I’ve lived here for roughly 20 years of my life and this type of comment riles me to be fair. Half of you muppets probably caravaned here with Mum and Dad when you were full of pimples, barely feathering and spending way too long in the shower to ever take in anything of real interest. But hey, you recognise franchised meat pies as key criteria in your assessment of a city’s worth. You [censored].

Match Preview and Team Selection - Preliminary Final
Agree with all of this. I watched the first half of the semi again last night and Fritta was below par in all aspects of the game. Up against an Eagles forward line at full strength will be a task too much. Whether he’s pushed forward to the wing for Tyson like others suggested remains to be seen but I like the idea of having a more durable ball winner like Dom in the clinches of a prelim.
