I’m hanging on as much as possible. ?
-
I can’t believe his manager either for that matter. Honestly, "he won't be going to Melbourne because he doesn't like the role they have in mind for him" sounds like a flimsy argument to begin with.
-
With respect, that’s old news. If list managers just decided to rest on their laurels and not look at any other machinations as they unfolded, I’d be very surprised. The Eagles interest in Hogan is one such machination that will impact Gaff. Gotta keep an open mind, Pro.
-
I think it’s highly probable.
-
It’s been reported that he has ‘supposedly’ informed his teammates that he’s chosen to leave and head to North. If that was fact, by now I would’ve thought a bunch of drunken loose lipped Eagles players could’ve potentially spilt the beans to friends, family or even media. Footy news travels fast in this two-team town and for there still to be no definitive confirmation makes me wonder. Even his managers colleague hesitated when last interviewed about who it was down to. I think it’s reasonable for those who believe there’s still something going on to keep the flame lit just as much as those who believe it’s a done deal with North want to extinguish the flame. This late eagles interest in Hogan definitely throws a cat amongst the pigeons.

It’s now Thursday and he hasn’t made a call. If it was as simple as either North or the Eagles, I reckon he’d announced it by now. Theres still something going on.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - KADE KOLODJASHNIJ
McQueen replied to DemonLad5's topic in Melbourne Demons
GCS departures: Lynch, Hall, Kolodjashnij, Barlow, *May, Rischitelli (ret), etc.. Who in their right mind would want to go to play for this club? Their supporters must be so disillusioned - although, I can empathise. -
Doggies supporters will be disappointed with Wingard not coming to them... They were sure it was going to happen given Dalhaus' departure and apparently Wingard and Jackson Trengove are pretty tight mates.
-
Well I'm sure we gave it all we had but in light of other recent trade rumours there’s still going to be a lot happening at the MFC this year.

Aaron vandenBerg not going - signs a new deal!!!

I can answer that. Yes. -
You’re either completely Shyte at math or haven’t bother to click on the links.

Apples and Oranges. No need to elaborate.

Well not quite... His comments were: "We don't stop asking the question, but we've been told to stay away for a fair period of time. We're reading what you guys are reading on that." Being told to stay away for a period of time can be construed two ways. MFC has been told time and time again to F off but are annoyingly persistent, or; MFC has been advised to take a step back and let things unfold safe in the knowledge that they're still in the picture.

Gaff vs Shiel (2018) Gaff vs Shiel Career Based on what I've witnessed and backed up by these stats I'd still take Gaff before Shiel although there's not a lot in it.

Eagles or Kangaroos: Gaff's choice down to two

Just noticed the poster Gawny referenced in his speech has liked this post @Demonland4276. Or has this been a timely username update??

Freo will be looking for mids.

To be fair, Hogan has never had a real clean run at it. Injury, tragedy, followed by further injury and more tragedy. Also I think people are trying to make too much of the argument that he wasn’t ‘invested’ enough in the club purely because his body language isn’t sufficiently positive for them. He’s an individual and a very talented one at that. For a bloke who was whisked 3500 kms away from his family and mates when only 17 years old to a basket case of football club and managed to eek out a career that has so far yielded a rising star award, multiple 40+ goals seasons amongst huge challenges, I think it’s a massive credit to him. I understand this method of coming to terms with his departure is some type of coping mechanism for many on here but let’s not forget everything he’s been through and still managed to achieve for our club.

No, they probably are.
-
That’s just your opinion. The facts are that he is an All Australian wingman.
-
Okay then....
-
Not really.

After the first couple of interactions I didn’t bother to read too much of the content but generally I do read most posters contributions on here.

10 pages to catch up. None the wiser really but happy to see @ManDee and @Dappa Dan eventually sorted their [censored] out.
