  1. The other change i noticed against the Pies was the umps were super quick at throwing the ball up not allowing the rucks to get set for the contest. I got the impression they didnt want to do Maxy any favours with his height advantage. Imagine this in a final or GF...."lets just officiate this one completely differently from the rest of the year shall we?!"...
  2. Do what Clarkson did and go confront Gill. MFC needs to grow some in this area and ask for please explain on the Melk / O-Mac decisions that effectively cost us the match. Eddie would be on the phone first thing this morning and allover the airways. We've been the whipping boy of the AFL for too long in this area.
  3. Writing was on the wall weeks ago. A few weeks at Casey with a few important goals set by Goody & Co. A message that talent will only get him so far (which is probably where he is at now). Extra time/space & less pressure at Casey might be just the tonic. Build 3 to 4 quarter tank, get stronger over ball, clean up disposal (lower eyes coming i50 and hit other short targets around the field), improve goal accuracy and provide more 2nd efforts around the drop. His disposal is super sloppy/rushed at the moment. Rarely assesses and often just plays on in hope. He over runs the ground ball far too often also, leaving it behind for other team mates to try and clean up, or worse, our opponents. Needs to build tank to enable equal time spent through the middle and up forward on his return and i would be playing him in same dual role at Casey before bringing him back provided he finds the form there and earns his place over whoever he might be replacing.
  4. That is correct. Should never have lost that right and should be part of the deal. Home ground advantage at our original home ground.
  5. Lucifer Ox... Lucifer!

Certainly no issues with a receding hairline for photo shoots Adzman!
  7. Would love to see him get himself right and have a good run at a block of games before he is considered a trade option. One of only 2 or 3 that pushed back and stood up for us when we were getting bullied and pushed around by the Hawks earlier this year and was the main driver in our dominant 1st quarter prior to getting injured, kicking 3 goals.
  8. Yep. He should be Traccing DeGoey by now who has gone past him at a rate of knots. Tyson pls. A good stint in the McGoos to work on his tank, 2 way running (especially defence) and goal kicking off HFF. We cant afford to carry half baked pretty players who wont go when it's their turn under heat in finals.
  9. Yup...he is easily the next cab. And not just the genuine mids. Would put Tracc and Salem in there also. Hoping they all stay the course though with crossed fingers & toes.
  10. that might explain some of the clearance issues DS
  11. 10 turnovers today really hurt himself and team momentum at stages. Although he did get a fair bit more of it on the outside today vs usual (32 Ups vs season average 18). Might have had a soft tag to put the pressure on a bit more than previously and was trying to run to receive a little more to break the tag. The meters covered today would be interesting vs his average also if someone can get that info.
  12. Angus & Smithy highlighted in this update... Fantasy form watch: round 10 - http://m.afl.com.au/news/2018-05-27/fantasy-form-watch-round-10
  13. Ah i see. All good mono ?
  14. But there's other stats that tell a bit of the counter side Mono if you drill down a little. 11 score involvements (equal 2nd on the day) and 20 effectives running at 83.3% DE. Stats can certainly lie but they can also highlight some key (selective) aspects at times giving a rough guide on form.
  15. Along with finals appearances. Then increased member base. Need to overtake the Blues before the AFL will take any notice. They are still 10,000 ahead. As yoy say SW, must keep winning
  16. Trainer to Tom.... "She'll be right mate" ...."just to be sure though, maybe go get a quick scan eh"
  17. i thought that was to make themselves more attractive when presenting their case to magistrate/judge
  18. When my doc asks me what the cause of the RSI in my scrolling finger was I will know exactly who to blame... WERRIDEE!
  19. That is probably more accurate bing......whatever it is it ain't great!
  20. 4 to 6... club media speak for... "not sure really but if it makes you feel any better"
  21. Not to be confused with the Devil's dumplings! .... .....
  22. Not that anything i say matters but having watched Dom closely live & on box i find his reaction time is too slow to play inside successfully and is not a true in and under player anyway. Prefers to mop up after the initial forays inside which he does well. But we have plenty who do it as well or better inside especially with Viney returning. I think he is ok on the outside but only if receiving in enough space to assess and deliver within 40 meters or so on his left. In this scenario he generally assess well making good decisions and hitting up targets or kicking to favoured / fat side at a high percentage. Can look a million doing this at times when not kicking to unrealistic targets outside kicking range. What holds him back though IMO is his lack of burst speed and taking a bit long to assess/execute which sees him under pressure quite often and results in too many turnovers through pressured / panicy disposals. Hence the good / bad scenario and so many mixed views on where he is at. Personally i dont feel he is elite inside or out. A good without being great all rounder though. Would be looking to trade for a speedy classy outside mid at year's end if available similar to Impey at the Hawks
