Why isn't the MFC snagging X-Factor talent like this in the draft? All that work and effort (support..ground upgrades etc?) to assist the communities in the center and what do we have to show for it? The Duke played CHF on occasions but his inaccuracy eventually sealed his fate in that posi (for us). Improved his accuracy somewhat at the Blues and made a better fist of CHF there.

Frostmiester, Big M and Fritschkrieg (after Rnd 15) about the only ones who provided some highlights this year.

After this season it will be difficult to get anyone with some pedigree at 'market rates' D11. We wont exactly be high on any Managers' 'best fit' priority lists.

With the amount of up the line kicks and bombs inside 50 ... what a perfect fit. Marking i50 and taking set shots sadly missing this season. Even if his conversion stays ordinary (but not as bad as early career) it allows your mids/defenders to recover aerobically and set up the zone or press more effectively thereby improving likelihood of more repeat entries and less slinghots by the opp. AND he doesn't necessarily need to mark everything. Get the ball to ground for the quality smalls we are about to recruit ? Very much improved FT. Similar age too i would think. He only needs an average season with one decent finals campaign. Win the premiership and who cares after that. Could be our version of Tom Boyd. Worth a serious look.

I doubt it Swooper. Lost most of our matches which means even if BOG he is unlikely to get the 3 vote. And then there's the Skull & his mates who've been hating on Maxy since 2016.
