It's pretty much a Doggy thing. They prefer to step back from the mark and not 'Stand' the mark but instead go back and protect an area. If they dont stand the mark then that area has to be outside 5 meters from the mark. A great idea for defenders in an OOTF situation as they can protect against the inside kick, a play on inside for a long raking kick over the back and/ or the switch a little better instead of standing the mark on the line and watching as the player runs off into field to do one of the above.

Yeh im just using a short version as pretty much every rock fan's aware of the enter part. I have no gripe with the song or the group Coach. It's a beauty. But everyone's using it and our original intro song was Hell's Bells which was far more fitting. Just my opinion.

It used to be Hells Bells NC but pretty sure they changed it to Sandman .... Hells Bells obviously more fitting

Fantastic outcome. Need more of it. Get down there and support all the boys if you can. Plenty of good talent running around including our Permiership players Hibb & Rivers. JVR, Moniz (silky and could be a beauty given time!!), Ellison (not on list but a real goer....possibly a better watch up forward), Mitch, Turner, Daw, Weid, Chandler. Munro & White great stalwarts for Casey both play a very high standard. What a great lineup and incentive to get to the G early, just like old times, and support the boys.

Yeh and change up the music before they run out.... every team and their dog plays sandman before they run out. BORING

The selection of Lever here is just silly given is interrupted start. Yes he is off 2021 by a fair degree but hello! I feel he's slowly making up ground with each match. Getting him back to somewhere near his 2021 best form before finals is as critical as say getting Salem back.

Yeh so many choice kind words and phrases were used on us & our players (Robbie excluded on rare occasions) in roughly 3.5 decades of suburbun footy. In particular, Hawks, Essendrug, Crow & Filth supporters. Just warms me heart when i recollect those times. All i want to do when i go is return their warm hearted wishes in kind

Personally i am a big fan of the hissy fits and fan tantrums after a loss. So much more memorable. Such as the time we lost to the Roy boys by 1 point at Junction oval in 1972. I was sitting with mum & dad in the stand and older bro was with the cheer squad. After the siren i noticed someone in the cheer squad jump the fence and started thumping both fists into the turf on his hands and knees. Oh...thas my bro 🤣

I don't think he's done and dusted just yet Jaded. Looked pretty agile against the Dolphins on Sunday albeit a fair bit of ground to make up before he gets a call up just yet me thinks. Regardless it means we have another premiership player chomping at the bit. Competition for spots is always healthier than the opposite imv.
