The other side here is this might have been the cauldron finally boiling over after weeks or even months of cheap shots, below the belt stuff etc. I hope this isn't the case and mere speculation on my part but i'm sniffing there may well be deeper longer term issues here (in particular between two team mates or maybe a few more if you include others on the periphery) that finally bubbled to the surface on the Sunday. If so let's hope they nut it out (or have already done so) as something that might have been bubbling along for some time probably doesn't just "go away" after a bit of a donnybrook.

Reminds me more of a Rod (Tilt) Carter or Blakey type (potentially).

Rosman missing last week so i only saw about 3 quarters of him (live) the week before. Watched a bit on the box earlier. Shows promise i just worry about his slight frame playing off HB going up a level to AFL. Maybe another pre-season will help here? Also whose role would he be looking to slot into? The other that showed a bit against the Swans (i thought anyway) was McVee in patches.

Feels about right from the MFC listed guys from what i saw too NS. If i was being honest i really didn't see any stand outs (on the MFC list anyway) who were knocking the door down though. Turner did show some patches of very nice work and has done so for a few weeks so they must think he is ready for a look at the big time given that May (Petty?) isn't returning. Thought Hibb played at a decent level for longer vs the previous week (makes sense given the long layoff). Guess they just wanted him to run out most of a game then straight in for the Pies (sub? yikes). Moniz showed one or two glimpses of his class. Hopefully he can keep building and impacting from here. Outside of those on our list the usual culprits popped up in White & Munro, thought White had yet another very solid game. This bloke can play well in almost any possie now. The other that keeps impressing for mine is Ellison who appears to have a very good football brain, reads the play well and has some nice moves to find a bit of extra time & space to finish.

So the AFL's investigation unit deems it appropriate to investigate an intra club stoush but De Goey (with priors) being charged by the NYPD for allegedly groping a female in a nightclub is ignored!!?? Who would've thought... Gil & the AFL having double standards with outcomes dependent on the Club/s in question

Hey just wondering... weren't we (in a legal sense) the "Narm" Football Club up till midnight last Sunday!?? If so, then technically members of the MFC were not at said restaurant and have nothing to answer for. The restaurant's beef is with Narm F.C. !! And... the May that was on the frothies breaking protocol was the Narm version of May and NOT the MFC one! If that is the case then the MFC Maysie is still able to play QB!!! You bloody bewdy Newc!

Turner has white line fever. He ain't no shrinking violet. He'll be fine if picked. While he probably doesn't have the size yet to play big blocks of games at AFL level i reckon he will give a very good account of himself in short stints until he builds his frame & strength. The bloke can play dw.

May will get pilloried whether we do or don't. More so if we don't though is my guess Macca. Agree re the first part but its usually at training not a boozy night out. Dust ups/incidents with other knuckle head members of the public on a boozy night out .....yes. Re second part .. We haven't faired well without the two book ends (May & Tommy) so far against 'in form' top 8 teams. I'm not sure it will just suddenly click and we start beating them from here without both of them back in (and /or another KTF finally hitting some form and the scoreboard!).
