  1. Has Quanore been on Kozzie most of the night? If so he's probably had the better of him so far
  2. Pretty sure Nibbler has a bit of calf soreness. Harmes time
  3. Having a bit of a mare... looks a step off the pace for mine.
  4. Rubbish kick inside fron ANB... & no forwards working hard to get front Posi!!
  5. Loved the unselfish handball from Fritta in the first! Take a bow son. Time to shove that fork where it don't shine Demons!!
  6. One was pretty much after a basic Maxy miss (again). 11 point turnaround. They don't waste time kicking in. Their aim is to get the short chip kick to the pocket where possible then switch with a quick medium into the middle if possible. 41 Inside 50s to 18 ....we need to be kicking at least 2 to 3 more on that. Most have been decent coming inside aside from Maxy's obsession kicking to the near side pocket....and Jordan's poor decision making/execution.
  7. Piggy & Petty spoiling each other in that last marking contest / spilled ball goal was unfortunate. Happens in big games though
  8. Gawn fantastic in the Air. Work rate A1. Kicking .... 🤪
  9. IMV the only reason you would send Gus back to his old role (now that Hunt is in) is to play a slow momentum game in the last 5 -10 minutes that's already in the bag or to cover for an injured HB. Gus in the guts (or wing / HF) is so much more damaging & effective.
  10. Reckon you watched too much of the Flower Pots when you were a Chic Chook
  11. Hunt played his role, gave us some line breaking run we've been misssing off HB for a while. Allowed Gus to go into the mid field ✅️✅️ BB will need a KTD from the Pies and is a slight step up on the Weid ✅✅️️ Positive Lingers!! ✅️
  12. Actually i don't mind this. Time to take it to em vs same old same old where they usually have the edge over us
  13. I know we're in the new woke age but when did Daisy turn into Dwayne!??
  14. Looking more and more like the KTF cupboard is bare unfortunately Hopefully BBB comes good in time for finals

  16. JVR is ready for a launch....albeit most likely a brief entre as he's still borderline & raw. Form at Casey last three weeks is solid. Also showed some decent defensive pressure acts / tackles. Watch his read off the pack 'on the move' goal over the weekend. You wont see Tomo or Weid doing these things. He's a natural around goal and dead eye within 40
  17. Glad to hear Choco training the house down (again)! 💪🏼❤️💙 Any photos?
  18. I don't recall him hitting up with a bullet pass but one kick i do recall was a bullet directed into a dangerous part of the forward 30 that sent the Freo defenders into a bit of chaos as they had no way of preparing to defend it. Just came in so quick. I think this is the sort of stuff that's really beneficial for us given we don't have a dominant contested marking KF at present. Possibly not far off IRW. I get the feeling it would take a good 3 to 5 matches at AFL level (without a break) to get to a level of AFL match fitness that sees a player executing some of the top shelf stuff. At least on a semi-regular basis anyway. Even if he doesn't i'd be wrapped if he brings the level we saw against Freo most weeks from here!
  19. Are they competing for the same or similar role you think? I'm not saying they aren't .... genuine question
  20. No shame in that Nasher. Along with the siren going & the post siren goal from Macca i would say this is one of the happiest moments in my life.
  21. Yes that's also a plausible argument SD. Freo clocking up (what must be some sort of record) 78 disposals per goal vs 29 by us on the night!
  22. Weather most likely a factor Ox. Also the other factor may have been the condition of the surface. Looked pretty ordinary and those patches they threw on at the last minute, what was that!? Looked like a practice / nets pitch lol. Just guessing but looked like it could have caused a completely different under foot feel and firmness (ice skating on the new stuff vs chopped up a little & ploddy everywhere else??).
  23. If Harmes was in 2021 form ....possibly. A long way off it and coming back from a head knock. Doubt we would risk him for this role. Someone does need to run with N Daicos though. Pretty sure he drifts forward a fair bit. Maybe Jordan through the middle and Hibb picks him up for the forward bit?
  24. He's gives me the impression he's a distributor, mostly by hand (elite!) and very effective here. I would argue possibly close to the best or maybe the best at the club right now. I see him (rightly or wrongly) as possibly a very handy defensive sweeper at center bounces or sitting off the back of stoppage. I suspect he's starting to also get a little more of the contested ground balls in traffic as well (Casey level). Running limitations and kicking skills/finish however? Although even the latter seems to have improved as the season's worn on, more so his finish at goals vs hitting targets. Someone might also wish to comment on his defensive side? That's almost a separate watch in itself if you are to pick up on all the little nuances (and that assumes you know what to look for... my knowledge here is most likely pretty ordinary).
