Albeit it doesn't always happen as he was assisted by a lovely shepherd, Baker's decision to run & bounce to take space as the Freo zone continued to fold back was a thing of beauty. Not one player came at him early, preferring to remain stuck in their "team defence by wrote" shape .... which in the end resulted in them panicking and giving up a free & a critical goal anyway. Wish more players (who have pace and capable) would do this a bit more often. Great stuff Oskar!

We wonder why the sling tackle issues are about and talk around about killing off no prior.... So player gets slung around 360 stays on his feet but throws the ball away... nada just play on. AFL and its umpiring fraternity has brought all this upon itself.

I agree. His form from the limited sub time and his Casey matches is a fair way ahead of some. Is he competing with Gus / Hunter / Sparrow? Would need to share a role with or replace one of those yes?
