NON MFC: Rd 06 2021
Yep. Aged about as well as Grundy’s 7 year contract. Lol.

Ex Demons. Where are they now?
Rivers is good mates with Jones. I knew he would attend. Bloody rich of those turncoat defectors Howe and Frawley to turn up. Couple of wankers.

Snow Joke
To be fair, as far as stereotypes go, we got it pretty good. Rich, educated, well travelled. It could be worse. Will you ever stop thinking of Pies fans as toothless criminals? Because that’s a far worse stereotype to not be able to shake.

What they’re saying down at Arden St
I cannot stand that club and their supporters are all [censored]. Never met a North supporter who I didn’t want to punch in the face. Hard. I will never feel sorry for another club. We have been through more than anyone and nobody felt sorry for us. I hope we smash them by 20 goals and BB comes in and kicks 12. But I suspect it’ll be a closer game and after coming down from a massive win this week, it might just be a boil over.

Welcome to Demonland: Trent Rivers
The body and courage of a 30 year old. Beast.

What they're saying down at Punt Road
[censored] lol at Richmond supporters saying we are insufferable. They are a bunch of abusive drunk bozos. I’ve been to games before where they were winning and I felt genuinely unsafe. Even on the train home last night, a few drunk Richmond fans were trying to start something. Low class bogans.

POSTGAME: Rd 06 vs Richmond
My husband grew up a Richmond supporter. Then lost interest. I’ve been slowly converting him for 5 years, but gees it’s been tough given where Richmond were at and where we were at. Last night he was celebrating like the rest of us. I finally did it! So cheers for the win Dees! ?

What they're saying down at Punt Road
My favorite is the [censored] who said we are good team but also that we are clearly on drugs ??

Do you trust Melbourne
If we carry on and smash Norf, the answer will be yes. For the first time in my Melbourne supporting life.

CHANGES: Rd 07 vs North Melbourne
I really can’t see how they can keep Brown at Casey. He is a walk up starter, and just because he hasn’t played for us before, I think people forget what a good forward he is. Having a big presence up forward taking marks is just going to make us that much better. Yes Tmac is playing extremely well, but he can push further up the ground. Imagine Fritsch getting the third best defender because the opposition has to cover Brown, Tmac, a resting Jackson or Gawn and Fritsch. That is going to create a totally different dynamic. We know that at some point or another we need to get Brown into the team. We have a fairly “soft” game next week, against Brown’s old team at a ground he plays well at (probably). It makes sense to bring him in now and start working out the best forward structure around him. If we can kick a few more goals a game, who is going to complain?

POSTGAME: Rd 06 vs Richmond
I felt like we were just trying to ice the clock in the last half of the last quarter. Once Richmond missed a few in the start of the last and Kosi kicked that goal, it was all over and we just went defensive. Fair enough. We tackled like machines all game and were out on our feet. I know they were a man down in the end with Dusty out, but they had 3 extra days rest coming into this game. We were exhausted and played out of our skin for 3 quarters.

CHANGES: Rd 07 vs North Melbourne
Out: Melksham In: Brown We didn’t get a 60 goal a season forward to win games for Casey. It’s time.

POSTGAME: Rd 06 vs Richmond
Really ruined the moment ?

POSTGAME: Rd 06 vs Richmond
I think Melksham doesn’t do enough to keep a 60 goal a year forward out of our side. We didn’t get Ben Brown to play for Casey. We need to make him work and next week is the perfect time. All that aside, that was an enormous win. A season defining win. To be challenged early and not only grind it out but dominate, was incredible. Our best players all played well on the big stage. But for me Jackson was a revelation. A 19 year old giant, wet ball, big stage, and he just did not miss a beat. Amazing game. A great night at the footy and a great night for Jonesy.

GAMEDAY: Rd 06 vs Richmond
Richmond is still good enough to turn this around. Every entry inside their forward 50 is a goal out of their [censored]. We have to not drop even 1% of our intensity.

GAMEDAY: Rd 06 vs Richmond
I see it but I don’t believe. Richmond are still good enough to win this. Also umpire #22 is a dead set [censored]

GAMEDAY: Rd 06 vs Richmond
Jackson is 19. Ffs how?! Umpires and Richmond can go and get [censored].

GAMEDAY: Rd 06 vs Richmond
We were very nervous but seems to have settled. Gotta start getting on top in Centre clearances if we are to have any chance.

GAMEDAY: Rd 06 vs Richmond
Pressure. Crumble.

Relocation of North Melbourne Game?
I don’t care where we play them as long as the game goes ahead. The last thing we need is yet another interruption to our season and having to cram this game in before finals. Also lol at the arrogance here. Nothing would be more Melbourne than beating Richmond tonight and then losing to Norf next week.

TEAMS: Rd 06 vs Richmond
Next week, if Covid doesn’t ruin things, is the time to bring Weid or Brown back and see if we can play 3 or even 4 talls. Richmond are too potent on the counterattack and having to many forwards who don’t apply defensive pressure is risky, especially when they’ve never played together cohesively. Good move to pick Fritsch IF he is 100%
-
TEAMS: Rd 06 vs Richmond
Super human recovery from both guys. I hope Fritsch is right to go, because he’s a defensive liability if he isn’t leading and marking.

CHANGES: Rd 06 vs Richmond
Seems unlikely. I mean who have the players come into contact with? They just arrived. I doubt they are out partying. They'll have their movements limited, they will get tested before returning home and then tested again during the week. I don't think the Tassie government will give up the cash from the AFL over a handful of cases on the other side of the country, and if Tassie is happy to let them in, the AFL definitely won't say no.
