It really is. Because losing to [censored] sides doesn’t matter come finals and is clearly a concentration lapse. Today wasn’t a “we didn’t come to play because we expected to win”. Today was a “we got beaten by a side that is very good and killed us fair and square”.

A terrible day from start to finish. Don’t want to panic but last year we didn’t lose to a single top 8 side. This year we’ve only played 2 really good sides and Freo has not just beat us, they smashed us. So disappointed in so many of our players. Trac was embarrassingly poor. If he’s injured to the point where he can’t chase he needs to have time off. Brown and Weideman a disaster today. Backline had a complete meltdown without May. Smashed in the air. Smashed at ground level. Really bad day.

Unfortunately this is the first top 4 side we’ve played all year and they killed us. So you have to question the result. Teams have shown that they know how to play us. This is the first side that has been good enough to do it. And they did it convincingly.

Now Carlton will be even more confident they have the flag in the bag.

This is an embarrassing loss.

Other than Oliver, the rest of the side today has been embarrassingly bad.

This is a very bad performance. We are playing poorly everywhere and umpires aren’t helping

If Brown and Trac find something we win this well. Lobb is such a gun. What a shocking game for May to get injured. Especially with Buddy next week too.

It should be a genuinely good contest and I expect it to be very close all day. Langdon is a massive out for us. Hopefully the home ground advantage and our ability to never move away from our game style will help us win. If we do win, Bowey is tied for all time wins from debut.

This is going to be a very tough game now. Tmac has a knack of getting himself back into good form and then getting injured.

There is no doubt that even at 32 he is still a good player who could add plenty to a side. Sadly he is a cultural cancer and a [censored] of the highest order.

This will be our hardest test of the year missing Langdon who is in the top 5 most important players for us. It will likely be a low scoring affair. Hopefully we can break them open late.

Nobody can tell me that Richmond’s list was better than ours when they were winning flags. Dusty is a stand out beyond most players ever seen in the AFL for his pure ability to dominate finals. But aside from him we are a better balanced side with more A graders.

LOL very few dynasty teams had more than 5 champions. We have 5 champions and another 10 A graders who would walk into every single side in the competition. Ridiculous discussion.

I understand totally where you are coming from, but Gus is a leader and from a cultural point of view it is extremely important that we keep him. He knows he can walk for more money and a midfield role, so we definitely need to do something to lure him to stay.

I agree, and he will likely be a late out. But they won't give Melksham the emergency position for his 200th, so the real question is, who drops out?
