Just woeful. Frawley is getting spanked. Really poor work from him.
-
Get Sellar out of there. Howe to Scarlet.

We can't touch the football in the middle. It's depressing. Clark is awesome!
-
Tapscott is an utter liability right now with his speed. If he isn't fit he shouldn't play.
-
Epic fail. Seriously. This is a training drill with only the wind ruining the Cat's party. Scary.
-
LOL this is going to be awesome.

Like sand through the hour glass, so are the days of our lives *cue cheesy dramatic music* Unbelievable. No wonder Neeld thinks we were a club concerned about everything but football.

FFS why is there always a dark shadow over anything remotely positive happening at this club? There goes half a season of Gysberts developing. Fantastic.

Patrick Dangerfield ... Let's get him!
Jaded No More replied to Range Rover's topic in Melbourne Demons
Petterd for Dangerfield? Where the hell do I sign?! -
Cons Unless you've trained as a ruckman before, your chances of doing a serious injury are very high. Watts is no ruckman, never was, never will be. Why waste his development learning a very specific craft he'll never use long term? Kthanxby.

Patrick Dangerfield ... Let's get him!
Jaded No More replied to Range Rover's topic in Melbourne Demons
I'd be all over him like a fat kid on a chip. In a totally professional way. A ready made potential star, and a goal-kicking midfielder. YES PLEASE!!! -
I blame Jack Watts for the rubbish IT team at work. Useless.

Nothing annoys me more than supporters who get upset when people make negative comments. I never abuse our players and never will, but I get annoyed when we do stupid things and I express that frustration. I'm an emotional footy supporter and I make no apologies for that. I don't swear (loudly enough for anyone to hear anyway ), and I will stand and cheer everything good that we do, so if me expressing my emotions annoys people then they can stay at home. If you want to watch in silence watch it on TV. Otherwise harden up. Our players hear worse from our coaches everyday.

Great news for Blease, will give him a much needed confidence boost. And Bennell winning some possessions is another positive.
-
Reiwoldt had a sh*t night too. Just saying. Not an excuse for being soft around the packs, and that is something that Watts has to improve on because it's unacceptable not to go in hard when required, but it wasn't a good night for tall players. The thing that is really lacking with Watts is the physical confidence to push his man out of the way.

I don't think that's fair. Nobody knew Frawley wasn't going to play. It's possible that if Frawley was fit, that Tommy Mac may not have made the team given it was a wet night, and we had to go with Sellar for a second ruck option. I'm a huge Tommy Mac fan, and was royally [censored] about his lack of game time during the NAB Cup, but it wouldn't have annoyed me greatly if Neeld didn't play him last night, especially when Kosi was suspended. Of course Frawley not playing changed everything, and in the end was a blessing in disguise because it could be the start of a great career.

I might be the most jaded person going around *boom tish*, but even I'm confident we'll pinch a game between now and the GWS game. Wouldn't surprise me if we beat Collingwood.
-
When you consider the Saints had 22 more inside 50's than we did last night, and that this was his 6th AFL game, his effort was simply remarkable. Yes the weather didn't suit big forwards, but it didn't stop a nobody rookie from nearly kicking 4 against us. I've sat through enough games and watched Reiwoldt tear us a new one. Yesterday he was soundly beaten for most of the game. Tom really learnt quickly how to position himself and then had the balls to take him on. Improved disposal and he'll be a gun.
-
Thanks. I blew my [censored] at that too. FFS it was a game changer. Leader my arse.
-
Very good tonight. Kept the "bang your head again the wall" crap disposals to a minimum too. Much smarter use of the ball and ran hard all game. He has heaps of potential, just needs for it all to click.

Maybe. I still don't get why Dunn was subbed out, so I thought maybe Neeld was furious with him for something so dragged him. It was odd that he got subbed out after kicking such a good goal, especially when Tappy can hardly run, and Magner had about 8 different broken limbs. Mind you, late in the third he tried to centre the ball on our 50meter line and turned it over like an idiot and they got a goal out of it. Should have gone deep down the line. Maybe Neeld dragged him for that.

Way to ruin a quality thread. I blame Jack Watts for the sudden and painful death of my hair straightener. Nothing could prepare you for bad hair days. Nothing. Curse you Jack Watts!!!

DEMONLAND PLAYER OF THE YEAR - Round 5

I see what you are saying, and this was definitely his best game of the year, but Stanley and McEvoy are rubbish. -
DEMONLAND PLAYER OF THE YEAR - Round 5
Jaded No More replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
6- McKenzie (for shutting down St Kilda's best and most important player) 5- Jones (midfield engine) 4- Grimes (for lifting when needed) 3- Bail (for his 1%ers and his pace) 2- Bate (for his willingness to attack the contest) 1- Tommy Mac (for taking on the biggest test of his 6 game career and smashing it!) Honorable mentions to Rivers, Garland, Jamar and Magner would I think would come back on even if he snapped his leg in half! And a very very honorable mention to Clint Bartram, for leaving his guts on the field every week and for executing the best kick of his career after 100 games. -
Had a look up at the TV during 3/4 time and they showed Neeld on the TV yelling "Get so and so off the f*ing ground NOW". Anyone watching at home know who he was talking about? My lip reading abilities only extend to profanities.
