I'd imagine after one bad pre season loss a inquiry is needed into the whole footy department as well. With a loss like we had against the hawks there weren't many shining lights for us. Relax people it was his first hit out and JT can't turn a game like we had against the hawks around by himself.

I was at Kmart airport west shopping centre last year and was looking through the footy gear and found no Melbourne gear at all. I asked the check out chick why wasn't there any melbourne gear and she said It's Kmart policy to only stock the teams to the nearest location of the store. Airport West is in bloody Tullamarine if some of you guys aren't familiar it couldn't be much closer to Melbourne. I think the Administration needs to find out why we can't promote our club by having Melbourne gear everywhere. It's a wonder everyone jumps on board the big teams they have crap plastered everywhere.

I am so sick of him kicking goals on chippa when chippa does nothing wrong and he pulls these goals out of his ass. Makes our All Australian Full back look ordinary when he is nothing of the sort.

Did anyone think that we would improve out of sight over 6 months with a new coaching staff. I know it's footy talk bout it will take time . 2013-2016 is our time to shine for i am hoping to build up to that and see improvement. I know I sound like a footy player talking to the media but I think it's the truth but it doesn't mean I am not frustrated either.

Pretty sure it was Wellingham who was busted for Drink driving a couple of years ago. It wasn't the first incident with drink driving so they pulled out of Collingwood. -

Keeping an eye yes but if a potential sponsor already believes that LJ has done something illegal then I wouldn't want their sponsorship. -

So you are already assuming that somehow the sponsor (for arguments sake let's say they are based in china) has already found out about Liam and have also presumed he is guilty of a terrible crime and our now doubting their potential commitment to the dee's. Gee'z the business world must be full of stupid assumptions. Also any future sponsor in contact with us would be doing so with Full knowledge of what happened to Col Sylvia it didn't happen yesterday. -

What they could potentially think? They might give us more cash for being in the news all the time. Who really knows. My ears are deaf from all the alarm bells ringing off around here. -

How in god's name do we know how hard Watts age 20 is working at training compared to Cloke at age 20? It is very easy now to say Cloke works hard and so does Judd,Ablett and co. I would Imagine one good pre season doesn't turn you into a Wayne Carey (On field only) It takes a a long time. Let's give some credit where it is due. -

Does it really matter at this time of year so much to everyone that his form and every man, woman and child's opinion on it are plastered in the papers, radio and websites. That's what I am trying to get at. I agree Bay Riffin his form hasn't been good but I don't think a 20 year old KPP deserves this attention during the pre season whilst other players all across the league who haven't shown the best of form don't receive squat! -

You are probably right maybe I am being over sensitive and if you can't tell I don't really like Malthouse. But I would still have the same problem if all the talk was about a player from another club's form over pre season. -

Crap I didn't think of that! When Watts hits some form Bloody Malthouse is going to take credit for it. -

I am waiting for the 4 point games to begin and if JW was showing this form in round 10 I could understand the amount of the criticism coming his way. That's my problem at the moment it isn't the criticism apart from some things Malthouse has said but its the amount of criticism coming so early in a bloody pre season. -

So why isn't there massive hysteria about Carlton's pre season? It hasn't gone that well but it has been taken that it is just pre season form. I'm not saying that the comments about watts are totally incorrect I'm trying to point out that the hysteria behind it is. -

I know its all year round now but how about some fairness across the board. As I have said you know who gets away with doing bugger all and there isn't a whimper (Keep trying David King don't give up). Most of the media have affiliations with either players or clubs so subjects are either blown up out of proportion or swept under the rug. The need for certain media outlets to get heard is becoming a bit like a Reality T.V contest: Whoever can do/say the dumbest things wins. -

There are other Watts threads on here so I'll stick with my problem with certain people in the footy media. So Mick's comments that Watts wouldn't have been his number 1 pick are meant to help JW or are they meant to help Mick Malthouse in his pursuit to become [censored] head of the year? The only person who benefits from those comments are Mick Malthouse. Not only does Watts take all the heat but his old mate you know who gets brought up by David King on the insider for not doing anything and the subject is moved on by Alistair Lynch because he is involved in the company that manages that little twerp. This is the crap we as consumers have to put up with in the media. One subject is brought up all the time whilst another gets the hush hush. -

what is the point of pointing out he wouldn't have picked watts at number 1? It achieves nothing in the form of a discussion what is done is done. It is very easy for him to point out how good Cloke is now by saying as a 20 year old Cloke was a gun. Really Mick? I don't think so. -
Malthouse turns up heat on Watts Seriously Mick malthouse needs to shut his trap. I don't want this to turn into another Jack Watts thread because there is enough of them already here but I get sick of listening to old coaches or players who are new to the media saying something for the sake of justifying themselves in the media. For a bloke who would belittle other journalists at media conference's Mick is pretty quick to shoot off at someone over a pre season effort. He has already been pulled up once because of his Ted Whitten comments and now he keeps going with Watts. I fear that footy is becoming over populated with media opinions and these opinions are becoming more ridiculous just so they can be heard. SHUT UP MICK!
