@Rodney (Balls) Grinter Consistently rotating our mids should be part of our game plan now especially that we have similar type mids but from what I can see it doesn’t happen much if at all. I know I’m not an AFL coach but this basic plan should be part of our game plan imo. The further Goodwin has coached us the less confident I have become in his ability to get the best out of our list and provide a game plan that suits the list he has at his disposal.

If I remember correctly Bartlett has said there are NO excuses this season. The way the crows have played this season our reserve side SHOULD beat them so with Gawn missing through injury it shouldn’t be used as an excuse. This is a game I can see us losing as the players look terribly dispirited during the PA game similar to when a coach loses the players but time will tell.

I really don't think the MFC is a good environment for a untried coach. We have had a few who have came in and failed and Goody looks like the next in line. Basically success of 2018 was basically on the back of Roos work. We need an experienced coach such as Mark Williams, Ross Lyon and or Clarkson. I honestly think Clarkson is very gettable given the talk about Hawthorn and their current performances. I really hope Pert and Co are looking into this option.

You watch we will give the crows their first win next week. Only Melb would lose to a side who has lost all games this season and are on the bottom of the ladder.

Well that was fun being at the game. It was over at quarter time and he skill level was deplorable. I can see goodys post match presser now: Goody: I didn’t expect Port to kick, mark and tackle so well. They found all their teammates and that was an area we struggled tonight. We will learn from this and be better prepared next game ? To me the players looked lost like they had no idea what they were meant to do and as a result they panic and miss kick or handball under pressure. Another wasted season.
