  1. I can't believe I'm saying this and I know it's early in the JLT praccy matches, but the lack of contests are making the game a bit tame.It seems it's end to end footy with no real oomph. Have I gone too early on this??
  2. I believe he is under the same program of recovery as Trac, so ...whatever it takes
  3. The big three issues are: 1. Whether I am wearing the correct colour underwear on game day. (we all know that wearing underwear that has the oppositions colours (including the stitching) is a recipe for disaster 2. When I choose to turn on the radio to listen, e.g. We up by 5 goals and I turn on the radio, and the opposition kick 4 in a row 3. Whether someone you know says before the Game "You guys are a shoo in" or " 5 goals up in the last quarter and your mate says "We can't lose from here" Address these three things and we should get the job done
  4. First game I have watched this season, impressed with the standard of disposal, and general play, a couple of great grabs too. Very watchable
  5. Tottenham and Melbourne tragic, I wish I could figure out how to put horns on the cockerel.
  6. Nope still waiting. Interestingly I don't usually buy into the hype..."if you don't sign up you'll lose your seat", and for the past 10 or so years have signed up 1 month before the season starts......this year however, don't wanna lose my seat, signed up beginning Nov. Times are changing
  7. Fosters Special Bitter....not a bad drop really
  8. How about Fed square, never really quite got the architecture, there, Build a Gym in the VR ballroom across the road, central, close to public transport, and across the road from Y and J's Perfect OH and sign up Apple as our new BOJ sponser
  9. Imaginary zones are like the imaginary free kicks that Nicholls paid to our opposition all year, although honestly who'd be an umpire with this mob in charge? I feel sorry for the umpires (not NIcholls though)
  10. I booed Hibberd when we played Essendon at Docklands, because they weren't doing it......Caused a chuckle
  11. Is that the same house that gets trained down every year? Wouldn't want to live there
  12. I would hit the like button if I knew who Clint Stanaway was
  13. I've always called Mitch Hannan ...Jimmy, a few younger folks may not get the reference.
  14. As long as we play the Lions in Brisbane so I can thaw out, it's a great trip in June???
  15. Yep thanks to all the crew. Demonland is a source of many things and football too
  16. I don't drive a RR or drink tea, but don't like Barnsey either, people are allowed to have an opinion Smokey.
  17. What a classy way to exit, there are lots of footballers who could take some lesson here. Way to go Cam !
  18. I surprised there is no package deal for the Perth game on the MFC website....Maybe they didn't have as much faith as us supporters that we were going to get this far. If anyone knows of a package deal can you post here please?
  19. That's the worst spell of whether we've had for a while
  20. I was sitting next to my mate on the wing, as soon as Hannan got over the back, the whole crowd stood , 1 bounce, 2 bounce......goal!!!!! I looked at my mate who was still sitting with a grumpy face. " Couldn't see a bloody thing" he said "everybody stood Up" I gave him a big hug and said " Watch the reply, ya grumpy bastard". Best Goal since Wattsy In the QB clash
  21. Speaking of Theme songs I wondering whether the team will run out to "Hells Bells" as it is our home game. Even though I like the song, and the "hells" connection, the transition into "A grand Old Flag" is cringeworthy. I reckon they should play Hells Bells and then give it a good 30 sec pause and time the GOF as they run through the banner
  22. Yes it was a "Kennedy moment".....Where were you when you heard the siren go at the Western Oval. I was driving home as I had been working all day Saturday, listening on the radio, somehow I have a feeling it was on the racing channel so updates were between races (wow do you remember that). I drove home with tears streaming down my face, still makes me emotional even today. Next day I was determined to get the daily flyers. I got very strange looks when I asked for the poster from the front of the shop. They take pride of place in my study and I don't believe I could part with them.
