You need to give MT64 a bit of slack, he is not as fast as some on a computer and he is worried that the silver emulsion on the pics will stick to his computer screen when he posts them. You also need to remember the photos are in a shoe box and not on a stick just takes time for an old bloke. His memory is pretty good though for things 40 years ago maybe not for last week !

Can I say, excellent post, what happened last couple of weeks certainly showed how much Roos understands his team he does not look at things through a view tainted by alcohol or optimism (as we supporters do) rather a colder more realistic view....still think he could have coached better on a couple of game days but ......he certainly knows whats needed to be in place to have a successful club and I think that's around the corner with more hard work and toil, Go Dees

Nervous yes Hope we do not take it like the Essondum game, We should win ! but we should have beaten the bummers that aside we are playing better footy than for many years, a loss to north (top of the ladder) by only 5 points and 2 credible wins That's quite good form much better than the tigers, Our players coming back are good additions to a winning team, The Tigers changes smell of desperation to get back a winning culture and if either Maric or Delidio are underdone or get injured again. Then the Tiges are in more shite than a Werribee Duck. I expect to win, perhaps 20 points, but I have been wrong before, many times ! GO DEES !! Give em HELL !!

Isn't it great to have these players playing well enough that a coupe of years ago they would be rushed back into the ones, now struggling perhaps even in some cases no chance, depth is great Go Dees !!

Well I did not expect that ! What a shite of a game to miss watching or listening to.. I am EXTREMELY jealous, How long has it been since we kicked the first goal in a match, usually let them kick 3 then start ! Remember ripping up phone books for hours, with John H, Stan O, Don R, and Gordon T great times, then after kicking the footy on the G taking down the banners etc, a snack in the restaurant in Swanston St, then later going to the Phoenix and meeting the other club members. We were all good mates from all clubs. A long time ago Train trips to Geelong the night before games, snow trips, intra cheer squad footy games, playing cards all night can't remember it all

Don't think the loss was all due to poor defence from Tmac or even garland. Though they were poor. Our forwards had little run and the ball just came through the centre and into our defence Daniher just too tall, we did not keep it in the centre or our half for long enough. Let alone kick enough goals. But the back back into our defence just too quick with little pressure. Feels better to talk about it now I was not happy yesterday can only think of two or three good bits

Feel much the same. There is more talent to come in. We need better tactics, as do Fremantle. And we need more time, but as my only game live for the year (perhaps) I feel very let down with that performance. Though for two quarters the week before we were probably worse. still and all go Dees!! I will watch the tube next week and sip the beer

Don't know about petrified, but it's not a walk in the park, agree one of the disappointments last couple of years, we don't go hard enough in some games

I only listened for first 3 quarters new we had lost at 3/4 time went and had coffee with the Mother in Law must have been good In Dunn, needed in the backline Brayshaw he is best 22 Out Oscar Mac (injured and not good enough yet) Garland never in my best 22 have not seen him play a great game though others have BUT I am going next week so want a strong backline, if Brayshaw goes in who goes back to cover Garland I have NFI there you go GO DEES feels good but only 2 points how can you win kicking one goal in two quarters

Know nothing about this fella BUT if he has only played the game for 12 months and he will or does go first round well I do love a gamble cos to get to first round selection the up side must be HUGE and there is always a couple....what do I know though leave it to the current bunch of selectors its a good diverse group did well last year..
