I want to see AnB and perhaps Hunt have a blinder. Cos if they can do well and they are our ( arguable ) unpredictable players. We wil win easily. stuff winning by a point I want to win by 60 !

Just finished reading stuff on talkingcarlton best they could come up with was its about time we had a loss and we are Melbourne and quite likely to fall in a heap. Because we take them easy or are just plain cocky. there was definitely a low expectation of how they would perform oh and they called the bombers the effundruggs. Thought that was ok

All reports prior to the season said he was flying and almost a lock for the first game. Fair to say i for one did not expect him to play so well. He is not BOG every week but playing really well and deserves all the kudos from earlier in the year. Definitely a regular and first pick in the 22, Well done.

Need to argue the point, like a yellow card, you will play less effectively for the rest of the year, also need to show that we stick up for our players to the AFL. And the other clubs

No change unless viney is passed fit to play or we decide to “manage” players it is nice to win 8 games and 9 would be better still, unless we drop of a cliff, we will be playing finals. Now we need to start to plan who wil represent us in those final games. Get them all fit and importantly rested or not burnt out. we have looked a little tired these last couple of games. it’s unusual but we are the hunted now, we need to plan for our finals. I guess we need another 5 wins ? Yes ? Be nicer to be in the top 4 and get a double chance. Doubt we will go undefeated but did not expect to win the first 8. thoughts.

Duck screwed his club and his “mate” not a person to look up to or listen to his opinions. We all make mistakes but Ch7 it’s huge, not sure WoS Ron Casey would be happy, glad he is not ours !

I think you are perhaps a bit harsh on some. I thought it was a measure of how hard and strong Sydney was paying and trying to win, most you have mentioned had a couple of times when their input was needed and it measured up. I can’t recall anyone being outpaced all night, a couple might have done better but We had a win. 8 in a row I followed Melbourne in the mornings papers back then, and delivering the herald on my bike to 150 houses as well in the afternoon. that’s a bloodying long time ago !

Great hard fought win. Loved it. Would have liked one more goal early in the last. Was holding my breath a bit. Langdon, Spargo, Kossy, Jordon , Rivers, Dogga, Lever perhaps Chandler and Sparra All relatively new to our club, all relatively young, I can see this lot as first picked 22 in the next few years, they all have the potential to play 150+ games for the red n blue. hats off to the recruiting department ! JT and staff have more work to do with 4 maybe 5 players close to being pensioners. Go for it !
