Can we play Saints twice at the G next year? Won't happen of course....
-
Indeed you are correct Uncle. I have drawn a line in the snow and refused to go to the Darklands. Mulled wine and koogelhopf for breakfast..... mmmmm!

Look at the date of my post before you reply mate. I was talking about Dunn.

First sign him on for another 3 yrs, then sack him.

How do we get Prestia AND Hibberd to the club?
Moonshadow replied to watchtheeyes's topic in Melbourne Demons
Remembering too in these trade scenarios that we still need to take three players/rookie upgrades in this year's draft. Would Salem or similar be included in a package? We need outside run and carry. I like the idea of Hoskin Elliot. Tomlinson has been getting big numbers in the NEAFL as a tall midfielder. Not that we'd potentially use him as such, but an indication nevertheless that he still has something to offer at AFL. The concept of 'project players' that fill a need would have rubbed off Roos onto Goodwin. Anyone know of his injury status/history? -
WTF the rebbe???

And you think Essendon have a good track record of knowing what they are doing over the last few years braysure? You might possibly be right, but your self assurance and lack of reality is Hirdesque to say the least. I doubt that you are a Melbourne supporter, and its gutsy putting your balls on the line here so I credit your courage, but honestly, unless your name is Michael Hibbert you are speculating as much as the rest of us. Take a spot in the queue at the gents. Time to head back to bomberblitz mate.

The best crafted beer comes from the inner burbs Bub. But love a good macchiato or soy chai latte or ristretto or deconstructed latte. I tried to swing the conversation away from beverages by mentioning Corey Wagner's selfies, but, whatever.....

I reckon they'd more likely be evidence of your drug deals gone wrong biff. Careful what you wish for.
-
Just don't do that when you're looking up the Wagner pics online Ethan...

Move in with BBO.

Thank you for including at least one capital letter at the beginning of a sentence dc.

Yes, It appears that it might be easier to go through a trade than an AFL 'make it up as they go along' grievance tribunal which could take too long and have an unclear outcome. List lodgement dates would make it important to get it done in a timely manner rather miss out altogether. I reckon Essendon will use this stalling tactic to their advantage, as they have tried to do many times during the drug fiasco. It is a given that Dodo is a [censored] to deal with.

I think more to the point is that the AFL will want Essendon to get something decent for losing players. They've lost face over the bans and will want Ess to bounce back and be competitive next year aiming for the finals. Gill will ensure they don't get screwed.

Maybe, will be interesting to see. Goodwin might play hard ball, especially if Hibbert is offered significantly more by us. Melksham would be in his ear as well, I'm sure. Why would a player respect a club that hasn't respected them?

Who are the Dees chasing for 2017 and at what cost?
Moonshadow replied to junk's topic in Melbourne Demons
Will be very, very interesting to see if Goodwin makes a lot of changes or major changes to our list, given he will be the senior coach next year. Whilst I'm sure he will take on board the views of many within the FD, in the end it will be his call. -
Er, can't he just claim to be a delisted free agent? Why offer Essendon anything? I was under the impression that the banned players could claim breach of contract and walk to the club of their choice. They are shlt to deal with, so no great loss if we burn that bridge. Apologies if this has already been discussed in detail.

Bub clearly you haven't experienced a good inner city soy chai latte served by a Ned Kelly doppelgänger wearing a beret. Send me your addy and I'll have a large one Deliveroo'd quicker than you can say "ohmmmm".

From wealth of $250m in 2014 to apparently owing $275m now. Gave a lot of money to MFC at a time we desperately needed it. But my god that's some fall from grace.

Owing $275 mill. 'Diamond' Joe Gutnick files for bankruptcy

Run and spread has killed us against teams we should've beaten. St Kilda, Essendon, etc. My fear is bringing in contested mids not noted for speed and then being overrun yet again with Roo running around 40m clear of any opponent.

Never. Only suburban bogans use those disgusting flavours to spoil their morning beverage. Them and the rednecks from satellite towns above Melbourne.

I swear that guy is a dead ringer for Biffen.

Not me Bitters. I'm too busy celebrating the Greens victory in my fair electorate by taking selfies with anyone I can find out and about on the streets. And, of course, hugging 100 year old lemon scented gums before they are felled ruthlessly by the bitumen spewing authorities. Prodee would've been impressed by the size of the chainsaws - a 24" bar is a sight to behold. Must go. My soy chai latte just arrived.
