  1. Can Sam McLure organise Hurley, Rance, Pestia and O'meara as well please?
  2. FMD, he turns 27 on Oct 9, so no. Anything else I can help you with on the internet?
  3. Watched this today and thought you good people might get a laugh out of it. Sort of like what I'd expect from BBO.
  4. Actually, he'll be 27 at the end of next season, but don't let the facts get in the way of your view.
  5. Well..... I played there in the little league in front of 40,000. At the time I remember thinking they were there to watch us!
  6. I seriously doubt even Richmond would be stupid enough to take a second rounder and a bunch of blunt steak knives for Alex Rance
  7. 13 tackles too. Good defensive pressure.
  8. Agreed. We need at least one AA quality midfielder, maybe two. IMO we have serviceable midfielders and very inexperienced midfielders with potential, but we lack that very high end mid with about 100+ games under their belt. I don't consider Nate Jones or Bernie to be in that category. Rance would certainly be a good get, but I saw some good signs from OMac and Frost yesterday and think they will continue to improve with TMac next year. High end mids (eg. Prestia or O'Meara, pending medicals, or similar) and a skilled, running half back (Hibbert) are on my Christmas wish list. Improve the midfield and the backs will have less pressure put on them.
  9. Becoming really good on the outside with excellent run and spread. Also has a very neat side step to get out of trouble, similar to Nev Jetta.
  10. Would Spencer be an option to come in? He played quite well in that Geelong win last year. Two rucks, one resting in the forward line.
  11. I know I'm leading with my chin by asking this, but why so picket?
  12. Name calling appears to be your favourite hobby pinkshark.
  13. If Hogan doesn't get up we might have a forward line of Dawes and Pedo next week with Watts as third tall. Only one of those names brings me any joy.
  14. Best game for Omac so far. Thought that was one of the few positives
  15. The worst standard I've seen us play in Paul Roos' tenure. Regardless if the result it was amongst the worst I've seen us play ever. What makes it really sad was we fielded perhaps our best side and GCS had half a midfield.
  16. Taking the family. Staying well clear of BBO and Biffen who will no doubt be swilling beers and downing pies in the classy style of Sir Les Patterson. Got the abusive behaviour number on speed dial just in case. Can never be too careful. Dees by 45.
  17. If GAJ was to go elsewhere I would think GCS would pay for a fair chunk of his contact, maybe half.
  18. What was this thread about again???
  19. I watched a preseason match sim session earlier this year where a thin newbie ran back after an overlap kick, leapt high in the air and got an intercept hand on an otherwise unstoppable ball. Then he followed up to reverse the ball back the other way. Received much praise from his teammates. I had no idea who he was and had to ask around. Todd Viney and some of the assistants on the boundary were looking at each other smiling in amazement. It was Joel Smith. He looked very light and understandably had no tank for repeat running, but did quite a few things that showed he has a good football brain and a freakish leap. Don't know yet if he will make it, but I'm a fan already. Hope he gets a few AFL games next year.
  20. Dawes departing or on a significantly reduced 2017 contract opens up a fair bit of SC space next year.
