Red will do as all lawyers do: string it out endlessly to maximise fees knowing exactly how much money is available to soak up.

Have you thought of moving to Melbourne's leafy inner east and calling yourself Far Kew? ?

Despite the MFC promises, I still think its a logistical long shot to expect about 30,000 packs to arrive in time for Xmas. Our membership is on the rise and outsourcing is often hand-in-mouth. It's a 1st world problem, kids or adults.

Could be read several ways. Fess up to poor communication. Capitals are handy too sometimes.

Vote early, vote often, od!

Unless it was a Xmas present, what's the problem? As long as you get your card and pack before round 1. Given the logistics of tens of thousands of memberships, it would always be iffy to expect it before Xmas, regardless of promises, and especially after the boost in memberships after our prelim showing. Storm in a teacup.

Maybe Bugg is a very average player that no one really needs on their list. Could you show exactly where all the media says it has "forgiven" Gaff? I disagree with your bias and consider the Bugg and Gaff hits to be equally poor.

Essendon at 4 shows how easily led these 'journalist' are. I mean, McKernan and Joe Daniher as kpf's when Joe has hardly played a game in yonks???

Being concussed out of the game was the result, od.

Looks like an unprovoked, unexpected front-on hit to me. Bugg took Mills out, it was no backhander. I watched it live from that side of the ground, it was a dog's act. The injury to Mills wasn't as damaging as Gaff's to Brayshaw, but the action was much the same. Neither Bugg nor Gaff deserve "no hard feelings" or sadness. It's called 'consistency'.
-
So Gaff is a violent thug, but Bugg's demise after his hit on Mills is sad and you have no hard feelings towards him? Not unexpected hypocrisy.

Nice spelling/grammar. It was a great kick. It does not make his foot disposal great overall. Let it go. You look foolish. -

Comparing Jayden Hunt to Tiger Woods and Michael Jordan is the stupidest thing I've read on Land ever. -

If you wanted someone across our halfback line to pinpoint a sharp kick to a leading forward, I'd rather it be KK, Salem, May, Jetta or Lever rather than Hunt. -
Hogan, Hogan, Hogan! You were better of knowing nothing, Schultz.

And that's useful once in a career. Football in the modern era is made up of 1%ers done repeatedly over the entire year, not some fluke long kick. The 1970s rang and asked you to beam yourself back. -
Tigers supporting friend gave me this summer read as inspiration for what could happen for the Dees in 2019. A good read actually, particularly the chapters on the early years of VFA and VFL, the money pouring into Victoria's coffers from the gold rush, the tribalism of the suburbs/classes. Melbourne fans like to think that the early years of footy centered around the MFC. The reality is that we weren't a powerhouse club early on, in fact it was Sth Melb and Collingwood that drove the break away to form the VFL. And Tom Wills was the captain of Richmond.

I hope that I'm wrong, but i can't see Hunt as being more than depth in 2019. Has speed and competitive desire, but his vision and disposal have always been poor. Disposal is hard to improve in this stage in a player's career. I love the idea of KK recieving a handball and spearing off a pass into the forward 50. That's also why Salem will be important in 2019. I rate footy smarts and disposal skills above pure foot pace any day. Better players have pace and skill/vision. Hunt has foot pace, I hope he shows us his new and improved smarts and pinpoint kicking in 2019. I won't be holding my breath though. -
Or his lover.

Like your thinking, would love to nab Kelly, Gresham or Cogniglio, but I reckon our salary cap will be tight the next couple of years as we re-sign some of our young guns. Or... trade a name player, as we did with Hogan, to make room.
