Yeah, like neither side turns up, like, at all.... ?

The 2019 Draft and Trade Targets Thread
As flakey as they have been this season, Port have some amazing young talent that they drafted last year. Would kill for a kid like Rosee to come our way next year. Anderson please, if we have pick 2. I did say please...

If we win a couple of the remaining games, we may well end up with pick 3 and miss out on Anderson or Rowell anyway Just sayin...- 2020 Assistant Coach Prospects: The Next Batch
Gold, Deemented Are Go!- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
Actually, 3 contested marks. Still not worth our first rounder or Petracca. Definitely not both.- PREGAME: Rd 20 vs Richmond
Youre a brave man, P-man. Can't say the same, unfortunately.- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
Yes, beggars belief, doesn't it. And if we did that, posters would then be calling for the head of Mahoney and Todd Viney- Connor Idun
Like it. Can you suggest another one or two for this year, Stretch?- 2020 Assistant Coach Prospects: The Next Batch

Context. Trading him to get Brown would be sheer madness is what I meant. That's what this thread has been discussing. Only Oliver and Gawn are absolutely untradable. We are better with a fit Trac in the side. Brown at the Dees would struggle more than Tmac or Weid have this year. A predominantly lead up forward in a team that only knows how to long bomb. Recipe for disaster.- Jon Patton
Patton has done 3 knees in a row, or at least 3 in a short period of time. And he missed half of his first season with 'jumpers knee'. If he was an animal he'd have been shot by now. Regardless of Gawn or Lever having had 'only' two recos, Patton is a bridge too far.- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
Petracca has done remarkably well this year considering how poorly we have played as a team. He will continue to get better in the next couple of years. We all know he can be frustrating at times, but trading him would be sheer madness- Jon Patton
Will be right at home with O'meara's dicky knee and Scully's glass ankle. After 3 recos, Patton is one unfortunate candy sell away from a knee replacement before the age of 40- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
He's the only one who kicks goals at North because of his long run set shot routine. Takes sooooooo frigging long no one else gets a chance.....- The Melbourne Problem!
37,000 posts? Double irony, bub- Sam Weideman
You simply cannot get to AFL level football without being competitive. Crazy to say otherwise. At 19, Petty has shown promise at both ends and has demonstrated he had a bit of mongrel about him. With good development and fitness I am confident he will become a very handy player. Can we develop him and some of the other young players properly? It's one area in which we don't have a great record: development.- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
My understanding is that if we trade our 1st rounder, we cannot trade other picks in that draft. Is that right? Not sure- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
I'd rather give up pick 3 for Johnno Patton.... ?- Brad Hill
What if it was our 2020 1st rounder for Hill, Dazzle? There are many ways to skin a cat.- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARLEY BENNELL
Unfortunately its hard to use talent when he can't get on the field, Theo.- Brad Hill
I thought I remember Mahoney claiming last year after the trading period that we had space for another big name this year?- Brad Hill
I just had a terrible dream where we finished last in 2020 and had to watch Freo use pick 1.... ? - The 2019 Draft and Trade Targets Thread
