  1. You thought that to I don't mind it.
  2. This is embarrassing for so called backup AFL players.
  3. This is suburban football at worst, skills are shocking except for a couple.
  4. Why, if he's in recovery and happy with life and has moved on so be it.
  5. While he was dealing with drug addiction he would have some serious knowledge for young players.
  6. No it would be a good look helping a great footballer getting on his feet everyone deserves a second chance if they are serious about it, besides his knowledge would help the younger players, now guys like Carey no because he still stuffs up after coming back into the media.
  7. Now there's a guy that could help teach some in the midfield especially the younger ones about the role, don't think the club would be that brave...
  8. It still doesn't affect rotations, can affect personal moves not rotations.
  9. How did Salem hurt our rotations if the sub never gets on the ground it's 4 on the bench....
  10. My only knock on Rivers is his execution when rushed not a great thinker when in tight but has the run and can kick long with some depth.
  11. Good view on this well thought out I thought with the amount of pill the backline saw for 3 quarters they held together pretty well yes mistakes were made but it's a bit hard when you are forced to kick to packs and the ball comes straight back and the times they brought the ball in with ease. I cannot for the life of me understand how our forwards always stand still, stand on the wrong side of an opposition player when the ball is coming in and a majority of the time play from behind, not one player ever runs their opposing player around or figure 8's even when the ball is not in the area they just stand still. JVR has a marking technique problem when the ball come in hard and quick as he not a one grab player for his size. For those commenting on Oliver I believe the club and Oliver ended up between a rock and a hard place. I am positive the injury has affected his ball handling and confidence but if they rested him when he suffered it you could bet the media and the football world would have suggested otherwise and try to get the club to prove it otherwise. While it's a long season and I'm sure we will make final they still have issues with the forward line again.
  12. Whilst you can make an argument for that other sides are also improving so each season will change, we have to many players that are not instinct players that take to long to move the ball quickly or unable to see players that are free seconds count in this game and part of that is the system we play.
  13. Yes it is taxing but again it is also the gameplan the Lions refused to let the game to be a purely a contest game they opened it up moved the ball at pace at all times stretched the midfield with ease away from the contest, they had players stand away from the the contested ball were we just flooded it, other top sides will try to do the same thing.
  14. The main problem is people look at stats not where they go or who they go to.
  15. And who's going to teach him that craft?
  16. So you don't know that's all you had to say it's OK to say it.
  17. Duck your head on those comments.....lol
  18. Well explain where I'm wrong happy to debate..
  19. That's the one I'm interested in...
  20. So you don't think the mids let him know where they want it, it's call communication every midfield does it also if you do the same 3 times and getting the same result you do something different.
  21. He has to start to change angles and jump, standing in the same spot you become predictable he's been in the system long enough, Stafford should be able to pick that up for gods sake.
  22. There you go throwing stats out, watch the game again where they went and how the lions benefited them.
