  1. Hey, that's disrespectful!! He deserves the respect of being called by his correct name. Tripplechins if you dont mind!!!!
  2. Daw is an absolutely clueless footballer. He looks a million dollars but looks totally lost on a footy field. Vickery is a total spud. As for the other guy, can't really comment. Never heard of him.
  3. It was good to win. Or perhaps more accurately it was good not to lose? The match was excruciating. In the members no one bothered to sing the Club song. (Same as the win against Brisbane last year, which was about as bad.) I agree with most other posters. Thanks Jacky!!! Harmes' turnovers are murder. I though Omac was OK, And Frosty. So many passengers ...
  4. Game over. The only thing worse than that dreadful Scott object is the obnoxious little fat girl (with glasses) making irritating squeaking noises on a recorder in the AAMI commercial.
  5. The Geelong win is now a part of Demons folklore. Not sure why. Yes, a very good effort. But Geelong weren't a top side last year. They finished 10th.
  6. A terrible omission. You forgot to mention the coach. I hate him even more than the supporters/players/ground/town!!
  7. Wow, some great memories there!! I've followed MFC since the late 60s. But I only started going to matches in the early 70s. With one or 2 exceptions, I was at every match referred to from 1987 onwards. Ah yes, the 1987 Western Oval match ... The finals .... And I agree that there were some exceptional players over the years. None better than Robert Flower (RIP). To use that classic cliche, an ornament to the game!!!!
  8. I suspect White isn't much of a player. But in fairness to him, he's only played 3 senior games. I think we need to cut Wagner a bit of slack too; first game back. Kennedy and AVB were both poor. Grimes was deplorable, and there seems little doubt that yesterday's debacle was his last game. 3 omissions. I'm not convinced about Frost, but at least he's fast. I suspect he would have been of some use against Saints.
  9. Yeah, just doesn't get the ball enough.
  10. It was dreadful. I wish I hadn't gone. The only upside was winning $30 by backing St Kilda. I went to the Etihad match earlier this year. And quite a few of the other losses there to the Saints. I'm obviously into self flagellation.
  11. I have a mate who plays for St Kilda too. He said that Montagna was playing in the ruck, Reiwoldt is having the day off to go house hunting (so won't be playing) and they will be playing a 9 man forward line!!! Oh yeah, and Jack Steven will be lining up on Hogan.
  12. I stand to be corrected, but I have the feeling he wanted to go home (Adelaide) for personal reasons. He was always going to be a star, and MFC certainly didn't want to lose him. I'm pretty sure the Club tried very hard to keep him. But good on him. Absolute champion.
  13. Brian Taylor. What a fool. "Lyons kicks the winning goal". Really? 6 minutes to go. Adelaide were 23 points up before the kick.
  14. They are, in fact, the same person. Hmm, I'm not sure whether I hate the Scott brothers (combined) more than Triplechins.
  15. I also hate that odious little fat girl playing the recorder in the AAMI commercial.
  16. Yes, I hate Thomas too. And Harvey, And Buckley, Hodge, and too many others to mention. It would probably be simpler to name those individuals I don't hate.
  17. I'm not sure which of the Scott brothers I hate more. Any suggestions/comments so I can make a decision?
