Pedo was, and presumably is still, a top bloke. But his AFL days had come to an end. He will always be held in the highest regard by everyone associated with MFC.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - TOM SPARROW
At Least I Saw a Flag replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
This song was written by Bruce Woodley. He's a Demons supporter. I see him in the members sometimes, now in his mid 70s. Nice bloke. -

Can you buy the caps at their stores? $10 is a good price, but postage of $10 kinda defeats the purpose. -

Perhaps it's not totally on point, but does anyone else think that Benny from Abba looks like a giant rat? -

Sounds like one of Baldrick's cunning plans. Won't happen.

My ex wife was as cheerful as Jesse. I suspect I'll miss them about the same.

You are a good man Hemingway. I didn't know that Bruce had leukaemia. Sorry to hear that. Sorry to hear that anyone has such an illness. He seems a nice enough fellow, however his demented shrill comments ("Viney, Viney, Viney") and fawning over certain players - Poppy, Roughy, Sauce, Cyril ...etc) grate. I cannot listen to his commentary any more, and so I have to turn off the volume for matches he is commentating on. He has become a parody of his former self. But back to you. There will never be another Hemingway!

Perhaps Weller's parents are related? And perhaps they are both related to Jed Lamb? -
Good Luck to all the VCE Students

Thankfully my 3 kids are well past that stage. No. 3 virtually had a melt down during the final exam period. Actually, delete the word "virtually". Thankfully (and somewhat surprisingly) it turned out well. I totally agree with the comments made by others. Your ATAR doesn't define you. Best of luck to all. It is a truly miserable time of your lives. Just do your best. And most of STAY CALM! If you're panicking, you're using your energy to panic, and not to think clearly. -
Can't be bothered finding photos, but I reckon Stephen Febey looked a fair bit like Matthew Febey.

My son played footy (U12) with Neale Daniher's son years ago. So spoke to him on a number of occasions. Needless to say, he was very friendly. Not really a random encounter I suppose!!

I had a work xmas lunch at the Stokehouse about 8 years ago. Andrew Leonchelli was with another group. I introduced myself to him, then told him that I was a Demons supporter. He put his arm around my shoulder and said "you poor man". I then told him that I had been telling my female colleagues that he had kicked the winning goal against Adelaide a few years earlier. Without further ado, he marched over to our table, took out his mobile and showed the ladies himself kicking the winning goal. He had clip on his phone!!! I sent him an email a few years later reminding him of that meeting. (I think it was when Melbourne pulled off an upset against Adelaide") He replied ... "Yes, I remember. I think I'd had too much to drink". Top bloke Very friendly.
