  1. Possibles for Saints game In: Gall, Goldrick Out: Taylor, Johnson
  2. Hanks Purcell McNamara Heath Hore Mahoney
  3. This afl.com.au/aflwPowerful Hanks streaks clear to put on the icingTyla Hanks streaks clear of the pack to nail this sensational running goal late in the final term
  4. I know Purcell got a lot of it and was very good. To me though she was still only the second best on ground. We should be used to it but how clean is Tyla Hanks! Also for one of the shortest players on the ground she is stupidly good getting the ball out to a player running past when being tackled. But easily the play of the day for me was with a couple of minutes to go in the 4th there is a ball up at CHF. A WB player has a hold on Hanks and the ball goes to ground. Tyla takes off, gathers the ball clean as and sprints away from the pack. She has a look around and decides she is on the best position and, oh so casually, puts it over the goal umpires head. I don’t like comparing with the men’s game but you won’t see anything more pure than that over there either.
  5. Love all that info. Thank you DIO 🙏
  6. So good! The Todd Patterson call about Molly being a magic person is an interesting observation. It will be interesting to see how she goes not only on Saturday but the next few years
  7. Thanks DIO, that is quite a list. Shades of last year unfortunately. Hopefully we can jag a couple of early season wins and get some troops back along the way. I am really looking forward to Saturday
  8. Does anyone know if there is a replay of the game anywhere??
  9. The injury list is unideal isn’t it, particularly Gillard. I am still pretty bullish though. McNamara seems to have gone to another level.
  10. Watching the AFLW practice match highlights is more enjoyable than the AFL. GO Casey, go the Girls!!
  11. Sorry but this is nonsense Scott Selwood is Collingwood’s forward coach and he was a tagger. James Rahilly is the Cat’s forward coach and he could be best described as a journeyman defender. Both those clubs seem to be kicking a few. You don’t need to have been a forward to coach a forward group. I would say brilliant communication skills, a deep understanding of the game and a synergy between all the coaching staff is far more important particularly in the modern game Famously Chris Fagan has never played the game at the highest level so you’d never want him as a coach.
  12. I hate to admit it but the Pies are a cut above. It’s going to be very, very difficult to beat them next week.
  13. Blumin hell. You have to feel for Jacinta Hose. This new injury can’t be easy to deal with physically or mentally. Hope she fully recovers and makes it back next year
  14. The wonderful little cherry on top of our rise up the ladder over the past few weeks, has been Essendon’s corresponding drop down the draft order. Bombers supporters have been death riding the poo out of us but, as it stands now, they have pick 9 at the end of the year, in a lower quality and highly compromised draft What we have is a future 200 gamer and All-Australian in Xavier Lindsay already playing for us now. I feel good about this.
