WELCOME TO DEMONLAND - ED LANGDON
Just looking at this trade with the benefit of some hindsight. âMELBOURNE has added some much-needed outside run by securing wingman Ed Langdon from Fremantle. The Demons handed over picks No.22, 79 and a future second-round selection for the 23-year-old, while the Dockers gave up Langdon, pick No.26 and a future fourth-round selection.â So we effectively got Langdon for a 4 spot down grade (that we used on Trent Rivers) and a future second rounder. This could end up being one our best ever trades.

NON MFC: Round 15
I hope Adelaide break their losing streak with a thrashing of Hawthorn. Those superior Hawthorn supporters can suck on that loss for a bit

Trac's Last Goal
Controversial goal? The umpire could not have been in a better position and called it a goal.

Trac's Last Goal
I honestly canât see the controversy. If it was touched it was clearly after it crossed the goal line. Clear goal, move on.

Fixture 2020 (COVID Edition)
Anyone know if the finals and GF have shortened quarters too

Fixture 2020 (COVID Edition)
If any team will need a week off to regroup before finals it will be us. Iâm all for it

Round 12 Unsung Hero: Christian Salem
Iâve been a Salem fan since he kicked the winning goal against Essendon in about his fifth game. But now as a 25yo with 90 games under his belt he should really be in his prime. I canât help but think that he could use his kicking skills as a much more attacking weapon opening up the ground

Scratch Match vs Pies (14/8/20)
Bloody hell. Iâll take that result this evening thanks very much

AFL Braces for Nightmare 2021 Scenario
Well you can imagine my disappointment. I figured the AFLâs 2021 nightmare scenario was Melbourne going back to back.

To Hell & Back Again?
As supporters of this Club we havenât had much to applaud over the past 50 years. Personally Iâll devour any feel good stuff they care to throw at me.

GAMEDAY: Rd 11 vs North Melbourne
That 1/18 win/loss stat against, what has been, a mid table team for most of that time has been stuffing with my mind. At least if we move to 1/19 today I can join the âthis year doesnât countâ crowd. Iâll then spend the next 8 months trying to work out if there is any chance I could still be alive before we could hope to even the ledger. PS. Cunnington normally bullies us and then shows us how to play football. He is a huge out

NON MFC: Round 10
I donât watch non MFC matches these days aside from the occasional Essendon match when they are a chance to lose. I stopped last night half through the 3rd when they were well up. Best start to the day to wake up this morning and find they got rolled. (My other guilty pleasure is Scully leaving Melbourne when we were [censored], going to a [censored] GWS and finally settling on a [censored] Hawthorn. Yes I know he is filthy rich)

CHANGES: Rd 11 vs North Melbourne
Haha Taylor Walker had a net contribution of negative 1.

Fixture 2020 (COVID Edition)
Bulldogs will come off a six day break V our seven so a slight advantage to us.

GAMEDAY: Rd 09 vs Port Adelaide
Lockhart doing ok

Fixture 2020 (COVID Edition)
Really we have only beaten them once in the past 20 outings? Wow that is a sad stat, even for us. Hopefully it means we are due for a few wins on the trot.

Scratch Match: Carlton vs Melbourne, Richmond & Essendon
That sounds fantastically strange. Were the Demonic Bombing Tigers coached by a woman with the initials JK?

Fixture 2020 (COVID Edition)
I hope it is us. Weather is sensational in Cairns at the moment (day 27°, nights 17°). Cazaly Stadium roughly the same dimensions as Giants Stadium that we seem to love playing on. Plenty of great Accom and lots of things for the players to do on off days. Very Covid free too. And the fact that I live in the area has nothing to do with me wanting them to play here

MFC Trade Talk 2020
I wonder how that will affect Brownâs performance? Whilst Iâm sure North will deny it, youâd think he will be sad/gutted/annoyed that he is potentially being shopped around

What happens to the draft in 2020
Between it being a highly compromised draft and no junior football this year, picking kids with AFL futures will be doubly difficult. About the only definite is talented players will fall to lower rounds than what they would have given an uninterrupted year. If ever there was a year to find yourself out of the first round, this is it. Who knows, may end up with a bargain
