Tapscott hasn't been great today, but with a better midfield and a Clark/Dawes/Hogan combo he could be quite dangerous taking the 4th string defender.

Wtf did Trengove just do at the stoppage? Went for 3rd man up and got about half a foot off the ground, ruined Gawns ruckwork and Richmond clears.

Sorry mate, he's been terrible. Very little of the ball and when he gets it, he has used it poorly.

Today we are playing like a team that has the potential to be good, but cant deliver on it simply from lack of experience. Much better than previous weeks where all has looked lost.

Fans tend to get more frustrated when players are out longer than they are initially listed/expected to be. Injuries are not an exact science. People heal at different rates and under different circumstances.

If McDonald comes back, he should be on Riewoldt. Did really well on him last year. edit: Misread the thread, thought it was referring to whenever we play the Saints.

Put Blease on him, Martin only plays half a game which would suit Blease just fine.

We need to trade for another first round or an early second round pick. That way we can get 2 mids early, then take another KPD with our 3rd pick (either our second rounder or one we traded for).

Garland has been awesome the last few weeks. Feels like he has taken over the gap in our defence that was left by Rivers.

The article about Watts injury said the surgery went well and was looking more like a 6-week comeback. I think everyone knows what to expect from Magner, personally i'd be happy to see him promoted and in the team if they dropped McKenzie for his spot, otherwise it doesn't bother me too much not having him in the side.

Rodan and Blease named on the ground, i'm going with Davey for the second week in a row.

Could you imagine if we only took 1 emergency, and 2 or 3 players woke up the morning of the Brisbane game with food poisoning? I would MUCH prefer to carry players interstate without a game, than keep them here and risk us having less than 22 players fit for a football game and looking like the most amateur club in the comp.

Blease named on the field for the Dees... and on the field for Casey?? Very unusual - they're usually named for Casey if they're put on the extended bench for seniors.
