If Paul Roos Returns to the Dees today ...
I remember the 70's and most of the 80's being pretty miserable. At least we had Flower. And the new age back slappers wonder why the supporters who have endured more than their share of garbage over the years are frustrated now.

Is Jeffy Garlett just trade bait now?
Yeah, maybe. Was abit too tough in close for Jeffy I'd suggest.

Is Jeffy Garlett just trade bait now?
Along with Vince and Lewis, Garletts done. Doubt he has the desire or the game to get him back in the ones. We're crying out for a small forward who can capitalise on the 600 forward entries a game that we can't convert. Something Garlett should be tailor made for but ....... No.

Home ground disadvantage
Not bad playing these outback games with no-one watching but put a big crowd into the MCG and turn the TV cameras on and we get stage fright. Embarrassing stuff. AFL won't want to take the risk on giving us too many games on Prime time next year if we keep this BS up.

Watts Dropped from Port
Wanna sell a few boardshorts to make up the 550k a year shortfall.

Watts Dropped from Port
So ....... WYL shouldn't have confronted Matthews in front of his grandkids, yet you think its ok for Matthews to punch WYL in the face in front of his grandkids. Show them what a thug old grandad used to be on the footy field. Your logic is flawed.

Farewell Dean Kent
Goodluck with your future endeavours Kent.

The Future looks promising!
And they were just the clowns onfield. Never stood a chance when the goons in head office started white anting him.

Tom McDonald Re-Signs for 4 Years
Fantastic. Was pretty confident he'd stay to play with his brother now we're on the rise. Absolutely stoked to have his name on the dotted line.

Give us some credit! (Media reaction merged thread)
I'd like them to stop giving us credit. Richmond snuck up on the comp last year and no-one thought they could win it last til the siren went in the prelim. We've blown our cover real early, the opposition coaches have plenty of time to turn their attentions to us and we're gonna find out how good this game plan and our execution of it really is.

How Good is Goodwin?
I'm impatiently waiting for the mystical flag. Considering I'm entering my 50th year and still haven't seen one, put up with some of the absolute garbage dished up for most of those years and are still here suggests that we as a supporter base have displayed the utmost loyalty and patience. And I consider any comment to contrary insulting and ignorant.

Filling the hole left by Jake Lever’s injury
Hope Frost takes his shot. Could be a rebounding weapon.
-
How Good is Goodwin?
It won't be Levers injury that stops the momentum. It'll be if we get more. And I felt like we were contenders during the 2nd and 3rd qrs of the 2002 Semi Final against Adelaide. A fleeting feeling that turned out to be.

Caro digs up old wounds of Camp Fiasco on eve of season.
He's better than he was.

Jake Lever injury - Confirmed ACL
Hope Frost can step up and take his shot. Could be a real attacking weapon if he tidies a couple things up.

Liam Jurrah Highlights
Probably. Neeld trying to turn him into something he wasn't certainly didn't help.

Liam Jurrah Highlights
He 1st went off the rails while up there supposedly getting rehab from his grandmother (special rubbing lotion) for his injured wrist. Made me think at the time his wrist couldn't be too bad if he was swinging a machete with it. Or grandmas potion worked wonders.

Liam Jurrah Highlights
Poor old Basil. Wonder how he's going. Was pretty miserable last time I saw.

Liam Jurrah Highlights
Yep. Can never have enough alcohol fuelled machete wielding women beaters at the club.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - TIM SMITH
And into my SC side he goes. Running 6 Melbourne players at the moment. Going against my usual policy.

Over at the Doggies supporter forum . . .
Was a frantic game style they played. Played finals a year or 2 before winning it. Now that they got the dream I don't think they have the drive or confidence to run as hard as they were then.

Over at the Doggies supporter forum . . .
I feel for this bloke. Even if we did manage to snatch a flag I'd be p1zzed if we self destructed over the next couple years like they have. Was bad enough in 2001.
