  1. Richmond did that last year. Our cover's blown.
  2. Just watched Talking Footy and Footy Classified. Be worried, they're all over us. The radars gone and now the targets on us. We're the team to beat for the flag apparently. Richmond got every-one by surprise last year. We're not gonna have that luxury. Plenty of time for opposition coaches to work on picking our game plan apart. Gonna find out how good we really are.
  3. Heard Melksham in a pre-game interview a couple weeks ago. Was asked how he went sparring Lever. Said the two players to really look out for at the club were Viney and Jetta. Both hit hard and I didn't catch who but one of them broke 2 of his ribs in the ring last year. I'll tip it was Viney.
  4. Nev Jetta can really motor when he needs to.

Just calling it like I see it. He's got some class. How much remains to be seen.
  6. Goedoos doing nicely for a 1st year player.
  7. Yeah big fan here, her footballing ability, the way she presents herself and the way she represents our club. Reckon her special comments and game observations are as good as anyones.
  8. Seems to magically appear when there's abit of niggle. Doesn't matter who's involved. Just loves it.

And I'm spewing I sold him from my SC side 2 wks ago when he hit 300k. Typically his numbers have improved since. In the air reminds me of Robbie Flower.
  10. Ah yes. Reliving past almost glories from 30yrs ago. The MFC way.
  11. Which is exactly what we want and why we got rid of watts his face.

And we've already got their scalp.

Yep, just heard as much on the radio. Only beaten such and such. Thankfully they're all worth 4pts. Lets just keep raking 'em up.

    Bugg anyone.

    Plays scared.
  16. Wheras I'd take Brayshaw. Petracca might have the god given gifts. But he doesn't have the drive to make the most of those gifts. Reckon he'll be a frustration over his career. Great to see the tongue has stayed inside his mouth this season though.

if only we trained to block. Been a bugbear of mine for years. Dish off the handball, then block the chaser. Not that forking hard.
  18. A conga line of arzoles.
  19. At least Neeld had the balls to fail on his own terms. if you've been appointed head coach at an AFL club, you don't prepare the team how some other bugger (Neil Craig) tells you too. If ya gonna fork it up, fork it up your own way. You'll have less regrets.
  20. Wasn't long ago that folks were screaming for OMacs head every week. Now he's killing it. The Weid might need the same patience.

Yep, talked it up early last year that he liked us playing on the edge. Couple players stepped over in Oliver and Bugg and he hung them out to dry in front of the media. Should have circled the wagons and told the media parasites to nick off. Players like to know the coach has their backs and if he doesn't they're not gonna play as hard for him.
  22. The way he come out firing during his 1st season it was plain to see Brayshaw was going to be a gun. Hit a few road bumps over the next couple years mainly due to his raw courage and is now starting to find the rhythm again. Petracca just needs to improve the tank and find more ball.
  23. Most commentators start cheering for the side getting done anyway. Makes for a far more entertaining telecast when it's close.

Both Jones and Tyson are habitual butchers but they're not alone. ANB and Stretch are also turnover merchants.
  25. Also played his 1st AFL game as a 15yr old. So I'm tipping book learnin' wasn't a priority.
