Apparently Cooney may have been on the table. Some reporter on SEN apparently i read it on Bf though. Anyway this can be a sign of how bad degenerating knee injuries can be? what is Cooney 25 and could be a shadow of himself? struggled this year and apparently takes alot of pain suppressants to get a game in.

These guys can play, and would be best 22 at the hawks imo But... the point is valid, they dont let talent go the Hawks or if they do its for some value so they dont generally look stupid Hardest team to trade with and against

Emma Quayle loved him... although people are asking if he was one of the "man child" types against the juniors I think he was more of a midfielder in U18's and is out of sorts playing in the back half, i dont think its position at all personally Have heard many times that he seems disinterested, especially while playing in the magoo's, didnt work harder to get back in.....ect

O'Meara is a class above... the way he weaves through traffic is incredible to watch, could watch that highlight tape for ages personally. He will be expensive but he looks genuine. Crouch will be nice but he is more of the HBF type i think, can definately play in the middle though, it is his kicking that puts him the back half though, something we always say we need, someone who can kick through trafficin the back half and hit targets out of the defensive 50, so the ball doesnt just come straight back in. O'Mear looks better but i would take them both...if only

It is just Gubby playing hard ball.... yeah like your not gonna trade any this year when the value is higher. Clubs will want their picks next year for the "super draft" i can see 3 picks going this year personally Also would find it nice if all 17 other clubs told GWS to get stuffed not giving them anything else

This guy sounds pretty good, I think we can say what the Neeld assistant mould is.... young, experienced with juniors/TAC cup good communicator ect and more than anything probably people who will rely on him and his word/strategy

Jordan Lisle? who can tell me about him? I havnt seen him play but hear he is big and can take marks, doesnt kick a heap of goals though, 5 games in 4 years for the hawks? I will bid Bate and a 3rd round pick lets talk hawks?

Nah they can trade the 4 picks over 2 years, i would assume picks not traded this year will be available for a new batch of 17yo's next year

Adelaide pick 10 to freo Freo pick 10 to brisbane Clarke to Brsbane Adelaide Gunston to Hawthron GWS pick 2 to Adelaide i think Hawthorn ??? > ????presumably Adelaide GWS pick 1 (O'Meara) to Adelaide then directly returned to GWS Something like this, was mentioned on Trade week radio, more so that these teams are involved with each other in big trade, with Freo wanting Clarke, Hawthorn wanting Gunston, GWS wanting to keep O'Meara and Adelaide seeing and opportunity to gain something from the Gunston situation and Brisbane actually getting something of worth for Clarke This is how i understood it and see it anyone else catch this?

The latest seems to be some 4 way deal involving Clarke to freo, Jaegar to GWS, Crouch to Adelaide and Gunston to Hawthorn....... AFL not sure about GWS ending up with Jaegar though Adelaide may be after Ben Kennedy of SA in the mini draft.

Yes but they still get a kid the quality of pick 4, i can understand why they might like to spread the value across 2-3 drafts but it is like the saying goes "always best available" Thats how i look at it, Would you trade pick 4 this year for both our compensation picks? assuming there wasnt other options like the 17yo's?

I which reality? Pick 4 is ALWAYS valuable i doubt we could get pick 4 for 2 first rounders around 10-12 Also wouldnt one compo pick balance each other out? and then its pick 4 vs one comp pick around 10?

This would mean that our pick 12 isnt adding any value to the deal? pick 12 and then they give back pick 9 GC being rumored to offer pick 4 and a compo pick means we need all 3 pick s to beat them So GWS would offer someting back in this case more in the region of (Collingwoods first pick 25) which they just received Edit - i think 3 first rounders is overs imo thats heaps and would rather just offer 2 first rounders for Crouch who i really like alot

I do believe that pick 6 and 12 is massive overs for Brad Ebert, but you are definitely on the right track. Ebert will be worth imo somewhere around pick 20 or so and Ports second pick is 33 which is nowhere near what is required to get the deal done. So if they can get a downgrade form 6 to 12 and something else of value, more than Bate imo this could open up the deal to then be Ebert and WC first pick 23 for Ports pick 12 or something along these lines Meaning Port get Ebert, Bate and pick 23 plus a few other things maybe for pick 6 not out of the question imo

Nobody interested in this statement? To me he said we HAVE been talking to mature player types from other clubs in exchange for Bate, Warnock, Maric types ect

This makes sense, the Cats gave pick 15 for it which would be higher than they could use it for in 2 of the 5 years they have it due to all compensation picks not being active until after the first round when GC and GWS were getting there first draftees
