This is definately the situation, and you would simply straight up prefer pick 6 to 12 especially when it only costs us Bate I was simply saying the compensation picks dont go off GWS's position off the club who owned it originally, so it will never be anything other than a pick 10 or so

Our compensation picks stay locked to where we finish not whoever "owns" them at any time The second point i agree with unless a good deal for 12 comes up, It seems littered with nice Mids up until 14-15 imo

The real BS part is why the hell would we ask for pick 51......really we are taking them for all their worth and asking for pick 51 as a sweetener lol

Interested in Harringtons comments from his interview, regarding the mature players from other lists and who they realistically could be?

Also there will be some amazing players available next season anyway, enter Lachie Whitfield ect so they will just draft these types and get value now while they can imo Article on Crouch which i havnt seen posted http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/208/newsid/124816/default.aspx

Wouldnt do it

This is it, Kavanagh might drop for similar reasons, not quite to 12 imo more like 10.... players like Will Hoskin Eliiot have moved up just because they can do a good sprint ect

Since when was every 17yo GWS listed a top 10 prospect?

Im fussy on this but believe daisy cutter is commenting on a situation in which we have traded our first round pick, and our next pick/ first pick is our second rounder. I dont know if you can trade you first rounder in this case, Would imagine it would have happened if it was allowable

I think the only guy to give him any competition is Lachie Whitfield, Victoria Country player, is a way out with alot of the players being even younger than Crouch and O'Meara however

If he is next seasons draft he will go very highly, top 3 is possible maybe optimistic by me, but he would be a certain top 10 this far out. had the second most effective kick in the TAC as a 17yo Emma Quayle: Read more: http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/crunch-time-20111006-1lbp9.html#ixzz1a4FMyvIK

Pick is still pick 4, would take both our picks to get it i would have thought, we turned down ports 8+9 for pick 2 apparently

And im saying all those picks will likely get you pick 1 only, Crouch is worth far more than pick 12 likely top 3 next season

This is being toughted as the asking price for pick 1 in the draft ALONE, It would be nice to get an established play as mentioned, but i wouldnt want to "over pay" them to get them here, or to much anyway. What happens with there second contract? do they want the same money which they are being over paid? throws wage structures out completely

Fiora, Tambling, Jarrad Oakley Nichols..... Travis Johnstone Three first rounders is alot of eggs for one basket, if we got a Judd then wow, because we have never had a player of this Calibre in my lifetime *23*, i missed out on the likes of Flower regrettably. These 3 picks are all about "getting it right" how we do that i dont care

This sounds excessively expensive to me personally, is he to the value of 3 Gysberts? Would you rather a "Judd Type" and two Bartrams or, 3 Gysberts? Frawley, Grimes and Gysberts?? Using all these picks will reduce the quality of our depth, big call I personally like the sound of Crouch: Read more: http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/crunch-time-20111006-1lbp9.html#ixzz1a3NqKXwk

This guy fits the age bracket that we require perfectly, also being a midfielder helps, and is genuinely a great player, is the type of player i would target Another one would be Rockliff, is a bit younger but has that hard edge,

Definitely would love Goddard at the MFC, is he worth 2 first round picks nope, only because he is 27 before next season starts. Would give a first and second rounder and Bate (Sweetener of sorts) ect Is just too old to go all out for imo, would he see a premiership with us? maybe if he plays until he is 31-32 years old
-
sorry was in the 40 man squad, maybe deserved it, hard to push out stevie J ect and Lecras had a couple big years, was a solid season non the less
-
This is true, we through the departure of TS have the resources available to use if warranted, other clubs will need to give up quality players, either to GWS or in a trade to get the appropriate picks... this is harder to do, especially as you may not get the 17yo after making such moves
