Petracca’s goalkicking
The frustrating thing is that he can nail them from afar - the first goal of the 2021 GF shows what he is capable of. Is his leg NQR or is it in his mind? Tracc - you can do it and you have done it - do it again!!

Goal kicking accuracy 2023
Our inaccuracy / inability to kick vital goals has realistically already cost us any thoughts of top 2 and may well cost us top 4 thus any realistic thought of a premiership. Surely kicking is such a fundamental skill in Australian football that we cannot continue to recruit or carry players that cannot kick straight and hit a target or a goal. Unlike Rugby where there are few kicks, or American “Football” where it seems only one guy kicks regularly all our players must kick accurately. This is a massive challenge for all our players, and coaches. ARE THEY UP TO THE CHALLENGE ?

Petracca’s goalkicking
As mentioned in the game thread, he would be a very worthy Brownlow medallist IF he were to get his kicking right. Set shots and field kicking. Question is how to fix it? I am sure Mark Williams has tried but whatever it is it is not working. Any serious suggestions?

PODCAST: Rd 16 vs GWS
Thanks for all your hard work and as mentioned above maybe best to leave this one alone anyway. Hard to pick out many positives and even if it is the cause many or most are a bit over loading. Let’s hope we can all celebrate a magnificent return to form with a solid win over the Saints. Maybe you were lucky not to have been able to see the full game. 🙄

PREGAME: Rd 17 vs St. Kilda
Surely JVR for the injured Fritsch is the obvious bare minimum. The forwards at Docklands won’t have any wet weather excuses they may have chosen to pretend to have today - though GW$ handled it a lot better didn’t they. Hiw about Bowey HFF and Woey of Howes to have a run? Petty forward and Tommo back in his place. And no more rucks clogging up the attack. Random thoughts.

CASEY: Rd 15 vs UWS Giants
I was unable to watch any of the game - a few questions please. JVR presumably just being “rested” (horribly expression, I guess “managed” may be better)? Jefferson getting any striver in the contest? Just a year behind JVR or more? JJ - for too good for here? Surely he will request a move on Verral - a year or two off maybe? Showing any signs? Thanks in anticipation.

Bombers very “lucky” not to be pinged twice in front of Port goal for throw / incorrect disposal

ANG13 - I am a bit conflicted re tonight's result. It is looking more and more like 4th is the best we can expect, so having cocky Collingwood at 1 would be way better than Port. Would far prefer Collingwood at the G than Port over there.

Have these umpires ever ever played the game - zero feel of the game calling that deliberate (5;00 to go Q3). Pissing with rain, off balance - about 50 cm from the line. Absurd

✔️ No doubt because Essendon requested it.
