  1. Wasn’t the merger plan that Casey follow Melbourne’s game plan to the letter? ? So, all going to plan.
  2. Do we have a ruckman without Preuss?
  3. But of course the AFL in their infinite wisdom have ensured that he will be allowed back for the finals. I wonder if he had a few bucks on the Hawks last quarter comeback? Could help him pay his fine.
  4. However I suspect that you may encourage her NOT to change her surname?
  5. Collingwood pretenders??
  6. This bloody “protected zone” has far too much influence especially when the “offence” has zero influence on the game and the ridiculous and poorly defines running forward for a 50 meter penalty without a set mark confuses everyone. Yet another poorly considered unnecessary rule change. Thanks
  7. 8 goals to half time! So glad the rule changes have made the game more exciting and high scoring. Thanks Shocking, and Gill
  8. If it was your eyes a certain ? could arrange that, I suspect.
  9. I really feel for JKH - the senior inquiry list is horrendous, the forward pressure is zero AND he has been playing his heart out and playing well for Casey. Is Goodwin blind or deluded?
  10. Is that a German WW2 Kruzer tank? But re selections -IF Gawn plays and aggravates his injury I will seriously not renew, especially as we recruited Preuss exactly for this contingency and this is a meaningless match as our season is over.
  11. I agree that Fritsch is a better forward than a beckman, but I wouldn't call him a small forward. Would Jay Lockhart, or JKH fit the rôle? Agreed that a player like Eddie Betts (once in a lifetime player) or our own Jeff Farmer or Wonna (had he stayed fit) is desperately needed.
  12. May just stood his ground and was also run into by a Lion, so I am rather surprised that Salem wasn't suspended for about 4 years weeks. Ludicrous that Salem was even looked at.
  13. Yeah ... and how did that turn out? Oh ... premierships ... OMG, is that what it is all about? Back to May: the big downer is how he presented to preseason. Maybe he needs another 12 months to get over that. But meanwhile that would leave Jack Viney, who I absolutely love as a player and an on field 'by example leader', but have serious questions as to his overall leadership qualities.
  14. So, no change then?
  15. There are absolutely NO easy games for us, though unfortunately there are quite a few for our opponents on the day. ?
  16. SWYL - actually quite hard to miss them. All pervasive and encouraging what may well already be and certainly will become a big influence on results aka “the integrity of the game”. Look what it has done to cricket: 20/20, 50/50 without any doubt and probably to the “pure form”, tests. And as for these little spot fire bets such as first goal or most possessions - is there any doubt that these are not at least occasionally rigged? I find these ads a total turn off: I have mentioned before that I often change channels or radio stations when they come on and often forget to switch back.
  17. Would certainly rate JKH ahead of Stretch and a slightly different rôle to ANB ... would like to think of the three ? Jim mentioned JKH would be well ahead. Hope he finally gets a decent run with injury to be able to prove his worth. Probably not a best 18 but probably a best 25.
  18. Not really. Jokes should be humorous. Just clicked on Port v ?. Maggots absolutely zero feel for the game re deliberate OOB. Paid a mis hit by Daniels then ignored a blatant one by Port in Doggies forward picket. Serious rain and hail.
  19. I must say I haven't seen much of KK either in previous years or this year, but could it possibly be that he has a problem with peripheral vision / spatial awareness like that Saints guy ?Koshitske? Jeff, Stretch and Keilty must be very close to non renewals Does anyone have any factual information about the nature of his injury? I didn't see the JLT game but when he kicked these goals did he look hurt? SD - so are you suggesting that we boycott these "meaningless preseason games"? Would you then be prepared to cut the team some slack if they take time, maybe a few rounds, to get vital match practice?
  20. Selowood not coping ; frees 1 G, 6 A at quarter time. Waiting for the instructions to come out at quarter or half time. What odds can I get on Sportsbet on that? ??
  21. Have our mates Gillon and Shocking succeeded in introducing another ambiguous rule that nobody has any idea about? Well done guys - your annual bonus has been well earned.
  22. SD - I will try to remember your link when I next need an expert medical opinion. Thanks
  23. Gil is seriously out of his depth and needs to move on now. His reputation will be as seriously tarnished as the game of Australian rules footy and his "brand" AFL. Maybe our "high performance manager" could turn his hand to teaching this trick: hasn't done too well at the core business. It would be interesting to monitor communications between the betting agencies and the MRO's office.
  24. Melbourne Florida?
  25. Is the answer to your question necessarily binary?
