  1. Harry McKay anyone?
  2. Saints would be a good fit - or Bombers (as others have said could find a good mate in Stringer)
  3. Considering requires a functioning adult brain, so not applicable here. He does not appear to have broken any laws so probably nothing for the AFL to look at, though surely his bargaining position would be lowered considerably come contract time. There is no law against being a complete and utter bogan though.
  4. I read the last two words first and nearly had heart failure. Would we then have A Brayshaw A, and A Brayshaw B?
  5. Daisy. I am glad that you raised this. Have tried to find which players have missed with Covid protocols - as I recall they include BBB Jackson ?Tracc all of whom have been well below par. So instead of slanging off at our players for being “duds” maybe some can try to think a bit deeper. And of course maybe those of us who think the Eagles are tanking could reconsider that many of them also were out with covid related issues.
  6. So Stu … in you first scenario Mitch Brown survives? Seriously?
  7. 1/ wait and see. Every team selection post has someone or more saying so and so shouldn’t be selected because they are a dud. 2/ I believe that some do. I think Disco posted prior to his debut thanking posters for their support.
  8. Wrong. Jokes are humorous.
  9. Bottom line is, IF Weed is selected then true MFC supporters should give him every support and encouragement. Deriding his selection cannot do him or the team any good at all.
  10. PS Is Thursday game v Brisbane a fully ticketed game? Can MCC members walk up and pick any spare seat?
  11. Just turned on the AFL Franchise v Footscray game - maybe 5,000 there? What a resounding investment that has been.
  12. My issue with ticketed games is the inability to choose where one sits … for me, I hate level 1 and deep in the pockets. In the good old days I could walk up and sit roughly where I enjoy the game most. Now I can’t. Gil - my “game day experience” is becoming less and less enjoyable due to the incessant non game related NOISE. I guess in your corporate box you can enjoy a chat with others while we peasants endure the inane din.
  13. Banking 10-0 has become far more important now than we realised back in April. ❤️💙
  14. WCE at least pushing the arrogant Cats ….. maybe those here who complained that we didn’t beat them by 100 points can rethink.
  15. And that is predictable 🙄
  16. Jj. Gill will no doubt tout the “wonderful game day experience” with over amplified din under a tin roof. I am sure that it will attract multitudes from both families in Tasmania.
  17. Round 13 2021. Colonwood 80, Demons 60 Colonwood finished 16th Demons Premiers Just an observation
  18. Well, Mr Jackson - the next 4 weeks or so gives YOU the enormous opportunity of laying claim to your real worth, hopefully at Melbourne. IF you can, without the onfield help of mentor Max, help is to get through the next month of footy relatively unscathed, then you may be worth millions.
  19. Not this week anyway.
  20. Our injury list blossomed just a week or so too late. Looking with the benefit of hindsight, should / could we have put Howes on the long term injury list and allowed him the full 2022 season to recover? It will be frustrating if he doesn't get at lest a handful of Casey games later in the year.
  21. Some at half time take the short acting ones, others the delayed action variety.
  22. We can only beat teams according to the scheduling - and how important was it banking those first 10 wins. It means we can afford not to panic at this stage. 2021 we had a dream run with injury: 2022 we are having a horror run not only between games but within games. I know we only have a mini bye off (can't see any of our guys partying in Bali) but lets see if we can reset, and by necessity play a slightly different game style.
  23. Saints looking better, or is it Bombers looking worse third quarter?
  24. McKay aint too bad as a marking forward - delivery also pretty good.
  25. re Tommo - as a medi sub he would be far more versatile than a small crumbed. Can play KPP defender, wing releasing whoever is on the non Langdon wing as a small forward. Some have suggested him as a KPP forward - does he have any history there? It is a big ask just because he is big to play at CHF or FF without any experience / recency there. Very sad for Daw to be injured at this time - he was the backup should Max go down: he has and he is not available. How about Rivers and Bowey sharing the non Salem HBF and releasing Brayshaw to wing, or even midfield?
