Just, perhaps, JJ’s reluctance to move the ball on / (apparent) hesitancy is his acting under instructions? After all, as many have commented, he seems to be definitely “on the inner” with the coaches and selectors, which he wouldn’t be if he were doing this against instructions / game plan.

Sure Sestan shows plenty of skills and goal sense, but he is more than likely a full year short of fitness / endurance to play at AFL senior level. But I agree an incredibly exciting prospect. Looking forward 2024 season.

And of course Rivers is a pretty good long kick into the deep forward line.

Can any expert tell me what is the best Joel has achieved in terms of consecutive uninjured games? Averages 3 games a year. Can't immediately think of more than a handful.
