  1. OUT: Viney (certainly does not fit the typical mould)
  2. Gillies appears arrogant, doesn't want to be there. Sellar can't catch Quickly losing faith in Neeld
  3. forgot to mention.. they were at FULL STRENGTH far out there are some heavy overreactions on here, I honestly think with our easy draw we will prob finish just outside the 8 this season
  4. OK.. Fairly even match besides the string of GC goals in the third, last quarter i'ld say we got the better of them, Tappy got absolutely creamed in the back with a resulting "play on" leading to a GC goal, frees went that way today. Watts BOG. Sylvia was hungry, no Davey, Jetta, Clark, Dawes, Viney, Garland (2nd half, not subbed, well no vests?!), Trengove.. it was a practice match, a good hit out. BELIEVE PPL!!! looking forward to the real stuff. I just got hit with a footy typing this.
  5. picked up intensity in 3rd although scoreboard not showing, seemed to have more inside 50s but failed to convert, GC got lucky everytime... wouldn't read into it too much.. highlight - JW carrying the ball from HB taking three bounces along the wing and bombing it long to Hogan at FF.. who just dropped the mark.. Obviously relying on a 17yr KPF aint gonna win us the game.. I am excited about the Dees, if can keep up the intensity should go close for the W
  6. Garland does not appear to be coming back on no obvious injury
  7. not sure, maybe cause all the GC beach babes are at that end? players out on field , 3rd to start in a few mins
  8. Half Time; blue skies must be over 30 here, no worthwhile wind advantage, dees started well and dominated 1st and start of 2nd, Ablett went FWD and created a few opportunities, and got the Suns back in the game, can't recall going inside 50 in the last half of 2nd?? went to Rodan a few times but got beaten and suns rebounded 4.5 to 4.3 heaps of kick to kick in the backline, struggling to get it clear out of defense, the Suns are onto the switch and zone was making Ds nervous. other points of interest.. Hogan's 1st quarter great! Toumpas and M. Jones going well, Tapscott took a great contested one handed, nJones outmuscled Gaz in a nice bit of work on the wing, Warnock 'the wall' another ex making you jealous.. players look stuffed in the heat, now must attempt to find the gents... Bailin Out
  9. Heading down to the game, will check in and provide some updates if lacking.. Carn Dees!
  10. If there's no improvement, Accidently Kelly Street Devil Inside - INXS
  11. pretty sure this undermanned squad could've taken out the dees last year.. B: Terlich Gillies PDpick1 HB: Kent, Toumpas PDpick2 C: M Jones Viney Barry HF: Rodan Hogan F: Byrnes Dawes Pedersen
  12. Metricon is a nice relaxed stadium although a pain to get to, I'll be at both games.
  13. great song by the Compulsive Gamblers, check it out!
  14. Please throw everything towards getting BJ. He would look good in red and blue.
  15. What about all those unsold Air Jurrah tshirts??
  16. We should get Petropolous on first base.
  17. Do you think when players see Howe down the field with a player in front of him, they go "I reckon I can just bomb it right over that guys head.." ?
  18. no, yes, their rookies are showing something, flatline, yes lions have improved in leaps and bounds, yes, only 1 win but ablett/hunt/bennell/dixon are exciting to watch
  19. Mr Robson said Jurrah and Walker ran at a woman and struck her, continuing their assault after she fell down. Melbourne Demons star Liam Jurrah led machete attack in Alice Springs, court told Not cool.
