Take a deep breath DemonOX.Forget the Dees for the next month. Go to your local footy and see a close game. It will give you some perspective back. There is sporting enjoyment out there this August you just need a break from the MFC.

Ever wondered why they play well at Casey and Struggle at AFL level?Davey is past it, Pedersen and Mckenzie are also not much, I am not as fan of either but they are IMO s a bit better than Strauss. YD we are the worst side in the AFL with the worst list, all the above would not get a game with any other AFL team. Time to face facts we have a lot of VFL level players.

Don't agree RtG Magner played a number of games last year ( 19 games )and we have been watching Strauss for three years ( 22 games ).We know exactly what they are capable of producing.

It seems a very long time ago that August mean't more than sadness, derision, Financial losses, Sponsors leaving, new coaches and talk about draft picks for Dees supporters.Winning games in August or any month for that matter would be a nice change. Perhaps 2016!

I don't think so YD not sure why you upgrade Magner and not play him But leaving that aside they are both very average AFL players. That why they are not picked VFL is their level.

Off season is the best time of the football year for Dees supporters If only I could afford to travel overseas for the April to September period.

Sort of deck chair stuff Nasher.I have a low opinion of Davis but after three years on the list he deserves a couple of games. Can he be any worse than most of the others we play ever week? Mckenzie well we know what he can provide. At least he has red hot go unfortunately he is not AFL standard but he has a lot of mates. GCS by 12+ goals

Truely mistified by Magner being upgradred but not even in the 25 listed. Why on earth upgrade him? Is there some rule that you cannot upgrade after the weekend's games? If not it seems a very strange decision but this is the MFC after all.

Craig would be cheaper too. He has a contract for next year that has to be paid one way or the other.

I think that is your best chance this side of 2018 TBF Thanks for the info on WAFL Why will the Eagles and freo dominate? In the AFL Stand alone VFL teams have won most of the flags. Geelong won last year but Port and Ballarat have a few recently here.
