After playing and watching football for over half a century they rarely do. There is the occasional success but in the vast majority of cases once you are 20 what you have is what you finish with. Just pick good kicks in the first place. Don't waste your time on poor kicks.

IMO most of them have shown their worth. The professionals you want will hopefully appear over the next 3 - 4 seasons as the majority of this list is replaced.

I give the players plenty but we all have to remember that they did not choice the MFC that was done to them by a number of our rocket scientists over more than a decade. In my view most of them give their all. It is not their faults that the RS's at the MFC totally misread their individual abilities.

That is my main worry. I stopped believing injury reports decades ago. Before the season started they said he was fine to start no problems. They said when he went out that all was ok just a couple of weeks to have the pin removed and all would be well. He has not looked like training seriously since. They are making an educated guess. The reality is usually way short of the actual, tell them what they want to hear.

Seems to me we have all fallen about ourselves complaning about JW making an honest statement. Any half decent player at the MFC who is out of contract this year would be doing the same as JW. He was just a bit silly to say it out loud. I am off his back. Make your decision JW when you have all the info you need.

I just get tired of it always being that some one else that is to blame Maurie. We have over the last seven years picked the wrong players, the wrong coaches and the wrong Chiefs. We now own the result of these blunders.

So does the reverse follow If we had one A grader would that mean it is the selection not the development? I am not suggesting that the two problems don't exist I just look at a lot of the selections and think these players would still be crap in any team. eg. Bennel, Maric, Cook

You won't get an arguement from me dc. I have close to the same opinion. You can add reduced membership, reduced Attendances and more stories on our relevance in the competition.
