I agree I have been saying that for two years Weedster. In a decent team he would not be a midfielder, we are trying to make him something that IMO he will never be.

The court of public opinion is the only fall back IMO RR It is my belief that if the AFL said go forth and multiple there is not a lot they could do about it.

I used to complain about these charming remnants from the 19th century because of what they represented. But never got a lot of support on Demonland. If they do appear again this year wyl it will be a sign to me that the old guard are still pulling the strings. My preference is a ceremonial bonfire at the next AGM

Out on Saturday night at a birthday party at which the Essendon / Carlton game was being played. two interesting things - How I would like to support either of those side, they played it out to the last seconds. Both in my opinion are on the way up and over the next few years to possible grand final appearances They were both below the MFC 6 years ago! - To a person all I got from the assembled group was pity. That is the ones that knew I was a dees supporter. The rest thought I supported Carlton. Oh for the days when we actually meant something in the competition. Supporting Carlton on Saturday reminded me what it is like to barrack for a decent team and being involved in the match. A lost feeling I realised on Saturday night. PS it is probably the wrong thing to say on here but the mate and I that I go to the games with most days decided yesterday we are going to a number of decent games next year instead of the agony that is the MFC. I would really like to enjoy a game of AFL for a change.
