JW is a number one pick with a fair amount of skill, In a good side he would be a valuable player. IMO If someone wants him then they pay top price. No takers at that level, then he plays for the MFC on a reasonable contract. If he is not happy with that option then into the preseason draft where we will have no 2 pick. He either goes to GWS or the MFC. Those are your options JW. Time for the MFC to get tuff in all sorts of areas. This is one of the first for me.

I am finding it very very hard to disagree with one word from the above Redleg. Every talks about Richmond and the Tambling - Buddy disaster. But at least Tambling could justify a position in an AFL taem and played a lot of games. Cook did not play one single game and never got near one game. Oh stop I was not going to mention him.

maurie i think you have it nailed I don't agree with a couple of your selections but basically you are correct. Half our squad is not AFL standard. It is that simple. We are the worst side in the competition. So as night follows day it must mean we have a poor list.

Has anyone else noticed that the Essendon tone has changed dramactically since Evans stood down and Little took over. Evans was very conciliatory towards the AFL. Now Little is in control it is we will fight them on the beaches, we will fight them in the streets we will never surrender . This guy is used to getting his way I cannot see an early end to this saga.

I will behappy if we finish 15th with five wins and we are in the news for having four younger players drafted in last two arrive as good players.
