I was wondering the same Bbo.I started to lose interest at a rapid rate after round 2!

Demoneyes I think only one of your eyes is working.We have no CHB and still 2 HBF short ( If Grimes leaves the midfield make that one )] We have two ruckman who show promise but they are still far from the top half of the competitions ruckmen. We have two key Forwards who are injury crocks and IMO we will struggle to ever have both of them on the field at the one time. We have no small forwards and with loss of Davey and potentially Sylvia our experience level will again fall for 2014. Now of course this takes no account of any senior players we might recruit this off season. But don't deluded yourself that we only need a few midfield players. There is a reason we had two wins, got belted in another dozen and were generally uncompetitive. We have a crap list and it will take 3 years make a serious impact with replacement players.

They are always long bb when you realise after round one that your team is absolute rubbish that will struggle to be even competitive.

They started with reasonable lists.

Interesting that almost a third think the best we could do in 2014 under Roos is 15th or lower. Seems a very realist expectation IMO.

After another stellar year by the MFC I have begun to reflect on a few of the players. Two spring immediately to mind Byrnes, I understand the reasons for recruiting him but IMO he has been a large flop. Perhaps noble reasons but epic mistake Dawes similar to Byrnes but for a different reason IMO this guy is injury prone and will give us little over the balance of his contract. There were plenty of Pies people telling me long before the end of 2012 that he was injury prone. He would need to be dramatically different in 2014, Yesterday was the clincher for me. Could we give both to another club and pay half their salaries to get them off our list and create space? I know that it is doubtful anyone would want them but could we try?

I agree Robbie, he is contract for next year so if the MFC want him to leave it will cost.I guess the new coach will have a large bearing on if he stays or goes like a lot of things time will tell.
