  1. It does not seem we can agree on much this last 24 hours ManDee I find two things above to be funny - You are on a fan chat site not everyone is going to have the same opinion, To then suggest that because someone has a different opinion they are whingers and trying pull down the club is strange. Do you really think that anything on here effects the way the club was run and how the players played over the last two years. The real reason we are poor is we have poor players plain and simple. - the members and supporters have put up with almost a decade of terrible performances on and off the field without much whinging until recent times. The fact there are still 33000 paid up members tells you they still want success. Not everyone is going to agree with you accept it.
  2. This is classic "tell em something positive" Even when things are grim. I guess the poor buggers at the MFC are desperate for a look we are improving story that they summons these stats to show how much better we are. And to be fair we have improved. Unfortunately we have improved on the worst stats put up by any team in the last ten years if not longer. We are still equal last with little chance of winning another game any time soon. I am very glad I don't have the "Good news story" job at the MFC.
  3. My god mauriesy I would have bet a lot of money that no one here would have even heard of Patchewollock!Amazing!
  4. I just don't think he has the mental where with all to make it as an AFL player. We all have mental abilities to perform some tasks well and others not so well. most of those "abilities" can be modified to improve but seldom can the basic problem be eliminated. IMO Watts is never going to throw himself at the contest like Dawes, Jones or even Spencer. While he has plenty of the required skills his mental inability is always going to limit his results. Well that is my view, I hope you can one tell me I was 100% wrong but I will not hold my breath.
  5. Why Am I not surprised in that comment. It is probably very hard to accept Machsy but you are not the fountain of all knowledge.
  6. I am struggling to find something to disagree with in that iv'a.
  7. Being in Adelaide I can more or less ignore it. Planning to go to Ammos on Saturday dc for my footy fix. At least I will go with the feeling a win is a good chance.
  8. If only I could forget the last seven football seasons!
  9. Just a small mistake jr.Never had one? Mistake that is
  10. Bloody iPad spell check.Never happens on Microsoft. I suppose Microsoft has to have something good.
  11. When we are discussing the MFC neither can I jr.Out side of the MFC well that is another story. There are however A large number on here who have the problem every time someone gets 15 possessions in a practise match.
  12. C and B I think we should not lose sight of the fact we have the worst list in the comp by some margin.Short of JC taking the reigns and performing a dozen miracles the list will not change in one pre season. I think Roos has done as much as one human can in getting the best from this group. What we have been seeing the last couple of years is the fruits of terrible recruiting over an extended period. He is no doubt well aware that a large number of this group are not AFL standard players. He has to get the best they can offer till he can replace them not with champions but average to good players who can hold the team together till the draftees and young players can take over. IMO it has probably taken us the best part of a decade to get to the current position and we will not get out of it over night. It grieves me as much as you to see the number of low quality players we have to put on the field every week. And poor mr. Watts really annoys me because he has the skill set of a very good player. What can I do about it? Nil I just pray Roos can get us through the next couple of years and repair a sad list.
  13. I know we have had bugger all to fell good about for a very long time. But can we all take a breath and hold back a little. The guy has played one quarter. Can we please give him a few weeks before we all orgasm and pronounce him the next saviour.
  14. It is a fan forum stuie.Watts is a no. 1 draft pick who is performing poorly. Surely you understand the nature of the human beast!
  15. Sadly P-Man I don't care that much anymore. He is in the failed box. I hope he climbs out but I doubt it.
  16. Yep dc I think the cause is lost. When they sold out to the dollars of TV we started a new era where the TV execs run the important things. The old will never return.
  17. Jazza you did not call in at the repat. Thanks for asking my hip is coming good in leaps and bounds
  18. Clearly we are not going to agree ManDee. Go Dees
  19. I basically agree with you P-Man Roos has to preserver he has little choice. However I see no reason why supporters would not give up. The Supporters pay their money and have then endured 6 -7 years of the worst performing team in the recent history of the AFL. They see a number one draft pick with obvious talent wander around with low intensity for years. Seems reasonable to give up on him to me.
  20. I think the problem was there before then. He supposedly complained of a sore back before that game
  21. If it was then we seriously missed the signs with quite a few.
