  1. Pity he cannot play as well as being "good " WJ Having said that I think he has performed a lot better this year than I thought he was capable of showing. There are worse in our side at present.
  2. Agree TGR but who would trade and for what?
  3. I tend to agree with you rpfc. I think I have had it with all the "understandable mistakes" the MFC has made over the last ten years. This one area where the MFC is leading the field. Can we stop please
  4. That sounds familiar Chippy. Purchased today from a Viet veteran I think he thought I was one also, right vintage but my number did not come out. I was looking at him and thought " god you look old " a few minutes later I looked in my rear vision mirror. This nice young guy sold me a ......
  5. Now jazza I have a bone to pick with you. In a time when I am having trouble mustering any enthusiasm for the MFC or AFL at the top level I take exception to that line. There is nothing wrong with my hips. If you had said a brain transplant then you would have been in order. After all I have supported the MFC through the last fifty years of crap that must show something is not right in the head. Even someone with half a brain would have noticed and under taken treatment some time back. If I know who I am on Friday I will look forward to your visit and If I don't tell me I barrack For Hawthorn when you call in.
  6. Redleg I was at the windy hill game, quite often stats can be very misleading. He had reasonable stats that day And I thought he had only ordinary effect on the game. Not ready for AFL yet.
  7. I would have thought you would get enough punishment being a Dees supporter!
  8. I have tried to do similar but it is bloody hard to do that if they are not on the park nutbean
  9. I am confident "they" are not experts Bossdog
  10. Not sure initials are allowed bb "That person" I think is the closest you can come. But I will abide by Mr. leg's decision.
  11. Well he seems to play the other positions better to me now Saty. That is my observations.
  12. At windy hill he played mainly backline in the first half then Mid field and forward in the second half. In the second half he was IMO the best on the ground. won the game off his own boot. From reading reports from last week they suggested similar. IMO he is a forward / mid. He is not a backman IMO.
  13. It is hard to argue with that Chippy. But I am confident you know what I was getting at.
  14. Why is it I have the uncomfortable feeling that we have seen the last of JT! Is this a case of playing a kid too much in his first couple of years? Seems we knew in 2012 that something was not right but he played on, probably he was his own worst enemy. I suspect that as a captain he felt the need to be on the field. The kid has all the right ingredients we need sadly it may be some time before we know his future. I know it is a different injury to Clark but all the same southing words were said about Clark's injury. This is the MFC we seldom have things work out well with injuries
  15. Well lets correct that now. I have 90% of my own teeth the other couple are the best Baht can buy and I am only 84!
  16. Leaving that aside he has been out for substantial periods every year he has been at the MFC. This year was the first time he has had a good pre season then breaks down in early March and has not been seen since. This is his fifth year for 45 games. I think we know what we have. VFL standard player with a body that cannot take the rigors of AFL
  17. I am not trying to be smart Pates but what are they? This is what I struggle with I don't know what is his weapon, I see nil.
