Why is it that every player has to be a hard at it defender? IMO part of the problem at the Dees is we are trying to change the way every player plays. Why is our best Full forward being played way up field? Back to basics might help. Play the full forward at full forward and play the half forward there as well.

Well the 2018 season is well into the laster quarter and not a lot has changed for most of the decade. We are almost spent and the finals look a fading chance situation normal. We are still playing the Weid after a good game against cellar dwellers at vfl level and he is till producing blinders. Oh one thing has improved I was drinking a better single malt last night a very nice Bowmore.

Twice in the last Kent had the chance to seal the game one did not make the distance and the other was almost out on the full. Poor kicking from a senior player.

Played a reasonable game considering the terrible delivery into our forward line.

Without Frost and Vince we would have been beaten badly. Great effort from both.

Copped three bad ones in the last quarter. Terrible umpiring.

Casey win

Every week I watch Casey we get slaughter in the ruck the opposition get first use of the ball. King must be the worse ruckman going around in the vfl. Today is no exception. God helps if we ever to use him in the seniors.

Not sure we will need to go down the road too far wiseblood. I reckon if you get 50% of early picks right you have done well. There is a big difference between under 18 football and the senior game. Add that some players develop physically earlier than others that alone gives them an advantage that quite often evaporates once they get to senior level.

As always time will tell binman. I hope you are right we have a poor record with early draft picks.

If Gawn could kick we would have won and it would have had nothing to do with the training ground. Having said that I am not saying we should not get better training conditions. I just don't think that is the reason we cannot beat anyone decent.

Kent is that the same guy who spends half of every season injured and the other playing one quarter a game? He will be gone at the end of this season.

I don't disagree with any of that Ernest it just annoys me that people see it as the reason for our lack of success in 2018 when the real reason is we are probably just not good enough yet. I just hope we have a plan B as this one looks like it has some large difficulties not the least of which is the political problems.
