  1. I would be surprised if it tops 45k. Night game and poor public transport will hamper the numbers.
  2. After waiting for months the day has finally arrived and getting to and from game is proving to be interesting. I only go to night games at this time of the year however tonight is testing my resolve. Train trip will take 1 hour 40 mins with three changes, normally 45 mins. Limited parking at the G so looks like I am parking in the city and traming it to the G. Is it any wonder people donโ€™t go to games. Couple of Pie friends ( yes I have some) took 2 hours to get home last night when it is usually 40 minutes. After looking for an upside the only one I can think of is it may stop a lot of dogs fans going. Go Dees!
  3. At least we have good players to replace them. would you prefer to be St Kilda?

Amen to that George, it is amazing in this digital world of the 21st century that the ticket system is so poor.
  5. The thoughtlessness of not conferring with you first. Some people are just me me me.

Guys perhaps I have not been listening since the end of last season but I thought as a GA member I could turn up and flash my new card and get in. Am I wrong?
  7. Amen to that Mr. Leg.
  8. Patiently waiting to see if there is parking at the G . Otherwise I have to brave the trains on the way home. Bloody night game!
  9. Mr Leg would please get it right. 426
  10. I have thought this for a very long time. The Injury list is worthless. Only comment I could find on Melbournefc is from mid Jan when Max. was out for a week or two. All other stories are about the girls during finals time. No wonder I seldom visit the site.
  11. Perhaps they are believing there own clubs BS.
  12. Being captain of a footy side doesnโ€™t make you a rocket scientist LH.
  13. Well!!!! DD I donโ€™t even think about the girls game so I will claim I am correct.
  14. He is struggling with what day it is.
  15. Totally agree, the decision is wether or not the Demons is a "Nick name" or not.
  16. LDC you are suggesting the impossible. The only change to the time between goals and the restart will see it lengthen. The broadcast media runs the game now. The AFL gave up the pretense that they run the game some years ago. What the media wants they get with every new broadcast agreement they give more money for more control.
  17. Correct Ernest. It's a Nick name. The Demons is our emblem.
  18. I beg to differ we are the Demons our nick name is the Dees.
  19. Do the best you can, there is more to life than football. What about a 3-5 game membership.
  20. Then for god's sake stay home this year! Only joking, Seriously start going I guarantee they will win whether you are there or not.
  21. Tell them to wistle Dixie!
  22. The upside is there may be no footage for the other sides to pour over during the next two weeks. Just wait in fear!
  23. After reading all the comments and watching a few brief high lights it is hard to be anything but very positive about the season ahead. We look to have good to very good players in almost every position. I sense there is an attitude of we still have to win a GF at the G amongst the players. Bring it on.
  24. Surely there is a video of Collingwood!
