Try as I might I cannot stop myself from repling. Has it escaped your notice that for the last 6 years we have been crap. In 2011 we took part in 186 This year we lost 19 games by an average margin of 8+ goals We finished effectively last with one genuine win. It is fairly obvious that we have poor playing stocks. The current coach and FD have been charged with getting us off the bottom. They are now deciding who stays and who goes. So there will be a number of players shown the door. As there should be. It will not end this year as we probably only have a dozen players who a standard to get us into the top eight teams. Do you want to hang onto every player in the faint hope they will be an average player around 2015

I don't hate him at all. I don't know the kid and all i hear is he is a nice guy. I am just staing the obvious HG. In his second year at the club he cannot get a regular game in Casey Firsts, not one vote in either the VFL seniors or Reserves. The MFC FD has spoken if they don't know who does. The club has put their faith in this group so by proxy we have to support them until proven otherwise wrong. Why do you think I hate him? As well BB Neeld's future depends on it. If there is little improvement by the end of 2013 the knives will be out fairly or not. He has another 1.5 seasons to show some improvement at the MFC or his senior coaching days are over. Action now is the only choice. God I hoep the FD knows what they are doing. Not that we have much choice but to support them

Thorpe might not be a good example, the point I was trying to make is quite often players do not develop beyond their junior days no matter how much effort is put into them. Jaded I am not sure that the article in today's Hun says there are a number of clubs interested now. It may mean at the time of his drafting. Just a though as it does not read correctly in my opinion.

I reckon that is a poor excuse Jnr, it is wheeled out to defend a poor decision. A bit like " we failed to develop him " that is used to excuse every poor draft selection. Why can't we just admit we made a poor decision. Drafting is not a exact science.

Jaded this is not a go at you but I am really tired of the "did not develop" argument. It is trotted out for every draft failure. The New FD has had 12 months with Cook. They have made their decision based on the facts they see close up. It confirms my opinion and numerous others. The kid is struggling to be Casey standard. There are plenty of failures in high draft picks. EG Thorpe at Hawthorn, high draft pick. The hawks could not "develop" him and were is he now? It is not always " failure to develop a player" Some do not make it from Juniors to AFL level. Poor Choice lets get on with it.

Made the AA top 40 so he has been a good pick up I think. Pity we did not have anyone in there.

Probably win the Brownlow, gets $1 million PA, shines is GF medals every day, gets to endure the winter on the GC. Nah I doubt it
