I have a feeling old55 that they actually did us a favour. If we had kept him we would not have been able to get Clark. The situation is really only half a season old but Clark gave us way more for half a year than Scully gave us in two years and GWS in a whole season.

The experts have spoken. Nic nat is AA. That makes him better than Watts at the moment. We did make the right decision as Nic nat would have left by now But there is no doubt in my mind that right now he is the better player.

Probably correct Dr. The sad part is one of our thrashings was by the Hawks. I find it hard to blame Hawks supporters for their arrogant attitude. I wish like hell we had a quarter of the reasons they have. As they say winners are grinner's and the rest can please themselves.

Amazing! not one negative story about the MFC for 8 days by my count. Still Carlton seem to be hogging the negative columns later. Demonland has gone very quiet Big weekend coming up Uni Blacks in GF and favourites as well

Funny I have often wondered would I get a new side if the MFC fell over. 10 years ago yes I would have but now I would just get my winters back for something useful.

I don't even need that now H_T I don't think we will get that good in the next decade Just a good side that wins more than it loses will satisfy me. All I need is a side that plays tough is respected and I can go to matches believing we have a good chance of winning most.

Sorry to disagree Biffen but I admire the Hawks they represent everything that the MFC does not. Right now I am on the Hawks band wagon. Go Hawks

Interesting subject first it just shows how little of interest there is in MFc at present that we are reduced to this subject. I have been a Dees supporter since 1960 and will be until the MFC folds or I do. However I do have a tipping point re membership and interest in attending games etc. The next 2 years will IMO decide my interest in being a member and attending games. I agree with WYL we are at the cross roads If we do not draft very well and improve our position we will be doomed to remain a irrelevant club in the new competition. If the trend of the last 6 years continues for another 2 years My support will be surely tested. Not sure I have much left after the last 48 years.
