  1. I as many others don’t have much of an idea of the inner machinations of leadership at the club. We hear snippets here and there about so and so. Max has been great. I’d leave to the club to decide and forgo an opinion.
  2. So far Petracca has been able to separate his game with his emotions for the club. Despite his issues with club and players it’s never really impacted his game in a negative way. Hoping next season we still see the best of him on the field and his thoughts kept within the club and private.
  3. Reminds me of when I was kid and refused to go back to school at the end of holidays because I hated the nuns. My dad said I will go back. The next day I went back to school. I had no choice.
  4. The get deal done for unders is the most likely scenario IMO.
  5. And no club will give him 5 years given his unresolved injury status.
  6. Whateley is a POS journalist. His self righteous snivelling style is unbearable.
  7. I was once accused of being Yze Magic because I joined Demonland on the same day he was permanently suspended. I can assure you I am not him either.
  8. ha Ha, purely co-incidence
  9. I’d take Brodie Kemp as the steak knives for any Team Petracca deal.
  10. Plenty of talk of MFC, players and others not contacting Team Petracca during his convalescence. There seems to have been communication early on but it doesn’t appear Team Petracca has bothered talking much to the club in return. I could imagine the Roffey conversation would have ended with something like “Christian, if you need support or have any issues please don’t hesitate to contact me personally at any time”.
  11. The vibes I get is that the club, players, media and supporters are all getting different stories from Team Petracca. Are we anywhere closer to the truth of what’s happening and why? I don’t think so. It’s an unholy mess and Team Petracca trashing his brand as well as our brand is the only clarity I can see.
  12. If you are still around jayceebee31, it was a great prediction.
  13. the only diplomat in the building.
  14. Begs the question of what role had “the big Melbourne club” in all of this if true? Surely any business manager would have sought out approval from the big club to follow a pathway to get X to said big club. Sounds implausible or very naive they would have acted on their own. I wonder what machinations would need to be employed since getting X to move to the “big club” by normal channels would have been very difficult.
  15. Especially when the key family member becomes the product.
  16. Also, highly unlikely a surgeon would give a random friend that kind of information. Completely unprofessional if so.
  17. I don’t believe any other club will take on his current contract as it stands and very few have the capacity to do so. If he insists on joining a premium club he will have to take a financial haircut and shortened contract with lots of fine print added to address his unresolved injury concerns,
  18. He’s too smart to take on the job. Being a professional talking head pays well with no accountability.
  19. Many people have forgotten about the Bulldogs in 2014. The club was going psycho, sacked the coach, senior officials left and an exodus of senior players. Won the flag two years later.
  20. There should be automatic financial penalties for players who wish to break contracts. A portion of their future club contract is returned to their previous club as compensation. They still will be well paid anyway so can’t moan about hardship.
  21. OK, laying down the groundwork for a grievance challenge maybe?
  22. I just wonder whether he had discussions and had some interest shown by his allegedly preferred destination club before he undertook this bizarre pathway.
  23. Posters have been kind of used in the past that what is said on Demonland stays on Demonland. It’s a hot topic and we are being watched from the outside.
  24. Neale was exploring moving back to Perth for family reasons. There is no evidence he had a problem with the Lions or teammates. It was no big deal for him to change his mind which he did quickly after the story broke. Totally different to the Tracc situation.
  25. ouch! Posters just must be more aware.
