Has any one considered that there may be relationship issues within the club that influenced his decision. Haven't heard of any.

Given that Anthony walked out on Collingwood because he wasn't getting opportunites he likely would not want to come to us anyway. He would want guarantees that he will be a starter most games within reason. Who do we drop in our team to make way for him?

Though he is big he does not carry the beef of these guys. Here you also have serious talent, brains and some great work ethic though not all in the same body.

A better example. I don't buy Anthony as a big tall option. Just a medium tall option. Our medium to tall forward options. Watts 196cm Newton 193cm Bate 192cm Dunn192cm ANTHONY 192cm Jurrah188cm Pettard 185cm Green 184cm Green, Jurrah and Pettard are strong marks and play well above their vertical stature. Bate and Dunn more versatile medium tall options. Anthony perhaps a little stronger . Newton has potential to play taller. Watts perhaps our genuine tall option. Only four, perhaps five of those guys are candidates for a gig up forward in any game at the moment. And if his head is not screwed on right then I'd pass for that reason alone.

I guess its the other side of footballers being so highly paid. If not playing to automatic best 18 level and having diminishing residue value then good clubs will not cut them any slack.

I hope he looks more than closer and gets out the colonoscopy cam. Too similar to Watts, Jurrah, Green and Pettard in size and will cramp their style. We don't need him.

Excellent so far. Any chance though of making the ribbon a little thiner and perhaps the ends shorter so the emblem is more visible?

All I see is fresh new branches about to blossom and bear fruit. All the dead wood has been pruned. Some rough cuts here and there but the tree has been neglected for a long time.

Agree, it sounded like an ultimatum from Bailey. It was Cam who totally disappeared of the planet. The club was still communicating its point to the public.

Efective communication? from my understanding "snake oil" was saying his client was "overseas" and that this was why he wasn't around the club. A tactic ala Luke Ball? The question is, who was trying to communicate with who?

Whats done is done. Would only make us look reactive and rudderless. Will spread like a cancer. New leaders will step up and perhaps from the most unlikely scenarios. There will always be leaders and many of our past leaders have been appointed by default. So we haven't lost much if anything IMO. We have a much better talent pool and steadily increasing experience to look into now.

And on increased pay incentives in recognition to the number of games they play with a big bonus if they make the 300 club.

I AGREE, these guys should still be playing with us now.

How about removing the background colour. Perhaps consider adding a background wallpaper and showing jimmy from his playing days.

All football fans are very good at dumping it too on teams, players, managers, umpires, coaches other fans and anyone else connected with the game. Haven't met one who doesn't.
